FEELNEEDY FN-F27 Stainless Steel Lick Mat for Dogs and Cats, 3 Textured Zones
Product description
During baths, nail trims, or a busy stretch at home, the FEELNEEDY FN-F27 gives dogs and cats a treat-focused activity. Its stainless steel surface has three textured zones for spreading soft foods and adding variety to licking time.
The large, square mat is designed for slow feeding and everyday enrichment, with silicone suction cups underneath to help it stay in place on smooth surfaces.
Everyday use
Spread peanut butter, yogurt, or wet food across the textured areas to give your pet a hands-on way to enjoy a snack. The raised ridges help hold food in place, while licking encourages a slower pace than gulping from a bowl. That makes the mat useful for a small treat between meals or for keeping a pet occupied during a routine that calls for focus, such as grooming.
The three distinct zones add sensory variety in one mat. For a cooler snack, the manufacturer suggests freezing it after adding soft food. Adjusting the amount of food lets you tailor each serving to the pet and the occasion.
Where it shines
The FN-F27 combines a lick-mat format with a stainless steel surface. Compared with choosing a silicone-only mat, this option offers a chew-resistant metal surface and a non-porous finish that is designed to resist stains and odors. Its surface can be wiped or rinsed clean, and the mat is dishwasher safe, so cleanup fits easily into regular feeding routines.
Use it on the floor to create a stationary snack spot, or attach it to a smooth vertical surface for a different feeding setup. The suction cups can help keep it from sliding during use, and vertical placement can turn treat time into a space-saving activity. The mat measures 9.57 x 9.57 x 0.69 inches, giving dogs and cats room to explore its three textures.
Buyer feedback commonly appreciates the mat’s easy cleaning, chew resistance, and ability to keep pets engaged. Opinions on suction and stability vary, so the surface and placement matter when setting it up. For cats, the broad, whisker-friendly layout offers a way to enjoy soft food without eating from the sides of a conventional bowl.
What to know
The mat is made from 304 stainless steel and has a non-slip base with silicone suction cups. Press the cups onto a smooth surface for a floor or wall setup. Its three textured zones can hold soft treats such as peanut butter, yogurt, or wet food, pressing food into the grooves helps make use of the patterned surface. Freezing the prepared mat is another way to serve a chilled snack.
The design brings together slow-feeding, treat delivery, and light mental enrichment in a single feeding accessory. It can also be used to offer medications or supplements mixed into a treat, as described by the manufacturer. Cleaning is straightforward: wipe or rinse the non-porous surface, or use the dishwasher.
When it makes sense
It makes sense if you want one reusable mat for snacks, slower eating, and distraction during everyday care. The stainless steel construction is a practical point of difference for households choosing a lick mat with chew resistance, while the three zones give dogs and cats more than one texture to explore. Set it up on a smooth surface for a focused treat session, or use it as part of a grooming routine to give your pet something engaging to lick.
