HoneyGuaridan SF35 RFID Automatic Cat Feeder, 4.6L, Dual-Band Wi-Fi

Technical details

A 4.6-liter capacity gives the HoneyGuaridan SF35 room for dry cat food while its RFID-controlled lid helps reserve each meal for the cat wearing a paired collar tag. This makes it useful in homes where pets follow different diets or feeding routines.

The feeder connects to an app over 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Set feeding schedules by day of the week, then use the feeding record to see which cat ate, when, and for how long. Low-food and low-battery alerts help you keep track of the feeder between refills.

• Type: Automatic RFID cat feeder
• Capacity: 4.6 liters
• Material: Ceramic bowl
• Color: Black
• Connectivity: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi
• Food type: Dry food
• Power: 5V power cord, four AA batteries, or a separate lithium battery

The sealed lid, silicone gasket, desiccant pouch, sealing rotor, and bowl cover help limit exposure to air and moisture. The ceramic bowl is easy to clean. The lid’s opening speed can be adjusted to suit your cat’s comfort with the feeder.

Tips for day-to-day use

Pair the collar tag with the feeder and place it where your cat can approach the bowl comfortably. The RFID sensor identifies a tagged cat and unlocks the lid, helping keep another pet from reaching that food. One device can pair with up to two collar tags, which supports a household with more than one cat using the feeder.

Use the app to set a different feeding plan for each day of the week, and check the eating record to follow each tagged cat’s visits. Buyers often highlight the straightforward setup, convenient app controls, and usefulness for managing separate diets in multi-cat homes. They also report that cats can learn to use the feeder quickly.

The feeder can run from its 5V power cord or batteries. With four AA batteries alone, it continues dispensing according to the saved schedule, but Wi-Fi and app control are unavailable in that mode. AA batteries are sold separately. A separate lithium battery can support app connectivity without a power outlet. The low-food and low-battery alerts provide an additional prompt to check the feeder.

Box contents

One collar tag is included for RFID recognition. The feeder can be paired with up to two tags, allowing its access control to serve more than one tagged cat.

When it makes sense

A standard automatic feeder can suit a household where pets share food and a common schedule. The SF35 is designed for a different need: controlling access by cat as well as setting feeding times. That distinction can help when one cat needs a separate diet, weight-management routine, or medication mixed with food, while another pet should not eat that meal.

It makes sense if you want app-based scheduling and a record of which tagged cat ate, alongside a lid that opens for the recognized cat. For a practical setup, place it in the feeding area and use the collar tag for the cat whose food needs to remain separate. Its 4.6-liter capacity and adjustable lid operation bring together meal access control and everyday feeding management in one feeder.
