Persure Pet Playpen, Small

Key specifications

A pet that needs a contained place to rest can be difficult to manage when you’re moving between rooms or heading outside. This pop-up playpen is designed to create a portable enclosure without assembly, with mesh panels for airflow and visibility and a washable pee pad named in the product listing.

It folds away into its carrying bag for storage and transport.

The Small size measures 29 x 29 x 17 inches. The enclosure uses waterproof 600D polyester Oxford cloth, thick mesh, and reinforced seams and corners. Eight mesh side panels and a half-mesh top help you keep an eye on your pet, the removable, zippered semi-mesh top is also described as providing shade in sunny weather. It can be wiped down or washed with water. The listing does not give a pet weight limit, so the dimensions are the clearest stated sizing guide.

Who it’s for

This setup is aimed at pet owners who want a temporary indoor or outdoor rest area for a cat, dog, rabbit, ferret, hamster, chicken, or pregnant pet. It may be useful during a visit, a trip, or a recovery period when a familiar, enclosed spot is more practical than letting a pet roam. For example, you can open it in a room, place the pet inside with the pad, and still see through the mesh while you go about nearby tasks.

It makes sense if portability, quick setup, and a washable surface matter more than a rigid, permanent crate. It might not be a great match if your pet needs more room than the Small dimensions allow, or if you’re looking for a hard-sided enclosure. Mesh sides also mean this is an open-view playpen rather than a fully enclosed, solid-walled space. Without having tried it, the stated materials and reinforced corners suggest a practical design, but the listing gives no specific durability or escape-resistance testing.

In the box

The product name identifies a washable pee pad, and the description says a carrying bag is included. Those are useful details for packing the pen away or setting up a designated resting area. The listing does not specify additional accessories, so don’t assume that bedding or other supplies come with it.

Questions before you buy

Does it require assembly? The description says it opens and closes without assembly, making it suited to setups where a permanent frame would be inconvenient.

How do you clean it? The playpen can be wiped down or washed with water when needed. The pee pad is described as washable, though no washing instructions or care limits are provided.

Can you use it outdoors? The product is presented for indoor and outdoor use, including outings and vacations. Its mesh top is described as removable and able to provide shade in sunny weather, no weather rating is given.

Final verdict

The Persure Small playpen is worth considering when you want a portable, quick-opening rest zone and your pet fits comfortably within its stated 29 x 29 x 17-inch footprint. Its mesh visibility, washable pad, and carrying bag speak to convenience rather than heavy-duty containment. Choose a larger size if the Small dimensions seem restrictive, or a sturdier, solid-sided crate if your priority is a more robust barrier.
