DUMOS Dog Playpen, 24-Inch

Key specifications

The 24-inch height and eight-panel layout give this DUMOS dog playpen a defined space for pets without turning it into a permanent fixture.

Its coated metal frame is described for indoor and outdoor use, so you can move the setup between a room, yard, or campsite.

A lockable door provides pet access, and the panels fold for storage when playtime is over.

The pen can be arranged as a square, rectangle, or custom shape. The listing also says setup involves inserting metal rods and takes less than five minutes. It does not provide the assembled footprint, so fitting it into a particularly tight space may be harder to plan without that measurement.

Who it’s for

This version is aimed at small and medium dogs, with the option to create a temporary play or training area at home or while traveling. For example, you could set it up in a living room while keeping a puppy in one designated area, then fold it away when you need the floor space back. The door makes it easier to let a pet in or out without moving a panel.

It may also suit other small pets, since the listing mentions cats, kittens, and rabbits. Still, the fence is only described as suitable for pets, there’s no information here about anchoring, weather resistance, or how it performs with a dog that pushes or jumps against an enclosure. If you need a fixed, heavy-duty barrier, a more permanent setup may be a better fit.

What you get

The listed configuration has eight metal panels, stands 24 inches tall, and includes a door. It’s foldable for storage and can be shaped to fit different spaces, rather than being limited to one fixed footprint. The product name identifies this version as a 24-inch, eight-panel model, other panel counts and heights are mentioned as separate options, so don’t assume they’re included in this configuration.

That flexibility is useful for a campsite or RV stop where the available area changes, but the listing doesn’t state the pen’s assembled dimensions or weight. If you’re planning around a specific corner, doorway, or travel setup, those missing details matter. It also doesn’t describe a floor panel, so this is an enclosure rather than a fully enclosed crate or carrier.

Questions before you buy

Can it be used indoors and outdoors? The listing describes it for both settings, including the living room, backyard, camping, and RV trips. It does not specify weatherproofing or ground anchors.

How is the shape adjusted? The panels can be arranged as a square, rectangle, or custom shape to suit the space. The assembled dimensions aren’t provided, so you’ll need to allow room based on your own layout.

Does this version include the door? Yes. The product description identifies a lockable door for pet access.

Is it worth it?

It makes sense if you want a portable, fold-away play area for a small or medium dog and value being able to change the enclosure’s shape between uses. Compared with buying a fixed gate or permanent pen, this design is meant to be moved and stored, that’s the main practical distinction, especially for temporary setups at home or on a trip.

You may want to skip it if you need exact assembled dimensions before buying, a floor, or a barrier specifically described for forceful or large dogs. Those details aren’t established in the listing. For a flexible pet-only enclosure that can be folded away, the stated features line up with the intended use, for a permanent or more demanding containment job, look for a product with clearer fit and construction details.
