SONGMICS ULPC001W01 Small Animal Playpen with Floor, 20 Panels, White

The floor panels help protect your indoor flooring while giving small pets a defined place to explore. The translucent white panels also let you keep an eye on them as they move around.

With 20 panels and multi-angle connectors, you can shape the enclosure to suit your space. Its lightweight design makes it practical to move or take apart when you want to rearrange the room.

Would a flexible play area make supervised indoor time easier to organize? This SONGMICS pen offers a straightforward setup for small animals.

The essentials

The enclosure is made with PP plastic panels and ABS plastic connectors. Its panels connect to form a rectangular play area, and the included floor panels add stability and help protect the surface beneath. Smooth, translucent panels make it easier to see your pet, while the modular construction lets you adjust the layout instead of being tied to one fixed arrangement.

Buyers often praise the simple assembly, reconfiguration, and room for pets to play. Feedback on sturdiness and stability is mixed, and some buyers report that pets able to jump may get over the top. The manufacturer recommends this pen for small pets, so consider your animal’s behavior when choosing a supervised play space.

Size & fit

The assembled enclosure measures 49.2 inches long, 24.8 inches wide, and 16.5 inches high. The 20-panel set includes 12 panels measuring 15.7 by 11.8 inches and 8 measuring 11.8 by 11.8 inches. This layout provides a defined indoor area for small animals such as guinea pigs, rabbits, and hamsters. Its rectangular footprint can also be rearranged into an L shape to use a corner.

How to use it

Join the panels with the multi-angle connectors, using the included rubber mallet to help seat them. Insert panel corners fully into the connector bottoms, and use two cable ties to secure panels side by side. For pets that chew, position the panel seams facing down or outward. The manufacturer recommends a pee pad beneath the enclosure to help keep droppings or debris from soiling the floor, the panels can be wiped with a damp cloth for routine cleaning.

Use the included parts to arrange the pen in different shapes or create a two-story structure within the set’s limits. Two sets can be used to expand the enclosure, and SONGMICS panels can be combined when their sizes match. The pen is intended for small pets, and the manufacturer advises against extended outdoor use.
