ClimbHope Acrylic Dog Playpen 24-Inch

For puppy owners who want to keep an indoor play area in view, this clear acrylic pen offers a different feel from an enclosed crate. Its panels let you see your pet while they play or settle down nearby.

The 12-panel set is 24 inches high and includes a removable divider for creating two zones. That layout can be useful when a puppy needs a place to rest and a separate spot for potty training.

Setup is designed to be tool-free, and the panels can be arranged in different shapes. The trade-off to keep in mind: at 24 inches tall, it may not contain a pet that jumps over barriers.

Best use cases

This playpen is intended for indoor use with small dogs, cats, and puppies. It can give a young pet a defined area in a living room or apartment while still allowing you to keep an eye on them. For example, you could set it up near the sofa, place a bed on one side, and use the other side as a designated potty area with the divider in place.

The panels connect in a modular layout, so you can form a square, rectangle, or L shape to work around a room’s setup. That flexibility is handy when a fixed, rigid enclosure would be awkward in a corner. The clear walls also provide a more open view than a typical wire pen, though they do not replace supervision.

Product specs

The set includes 12 black, clear acrylic panels and stands 24 inches high. It has a removable center divider, bottom ventilation slots, snap-together connections, and built-in suction cups on the bottom connectors. The maker describes setup as tool-free and the surface as waterproof and easy to wipe clean. According to the maker, the low-level vents are intended to support airflow around a pet’s resting and play area, actual airflow will depend on the room and placement.

The divider gives you the option of one shared enclosure or two separate areas. What if your puppy needs both a sleeping spot and a potty-training zone? This design makes that separation possible without choosing a second pen. The panels can also be rearranged, but expansion kits and other accessories are described as separate items, not part of this 12-panel set.

Where it shines

The practical appeal is visibility and flexible indoor zoning in one enclosure. Smooth, solid panels do not offer the same footholds as wire grids, and the suction-cup connectors are intended to help keep the pen from shifting on tile, wood, or laminate. That may matter when an excited puppy leans against the sides. The acrylic surface can also be wiped down after everyday messes, which is simpler than cleaning between wire bars.

Compared with a basic wire exercise pen, this one prioritizes a clear view and a two-zone layout. A wire model may be the better fit if you prefer an open-grid design, a taller enclosure is worth considering for a pet that can jump. The maker lists 30- and 35-inch versions and specifically recommends the tallest height for active jumpers, so the 24-inch version has a real containment limit.

You’ll appreciate it if you want a configurable indoor space for a small pet and value visibility, a divider, and tool-free assembly. It may not suit you if your dog is a jumper, needs a higher barrier, or will use the enclosure outdoors, this model is presented for indoor use.

Should you buy it?

Choose this ClimbHope pen if you want to supervise a puppy or small pet from across the room and make separate rest and potty areas without a complicated setup. Its clear panels, rearrangeable shape, and removable divider make it more purposeful than a simple open enclosure for that kind of routine. Skip the 24-inch version if escape prevention is the main concern for an active jumper, or if you need an outdoor pen. In that case, the listed taller versions or a different containment style make more sense.
