Product description
If you want to raise a 12–17-inch laptop while adding fan-assisted airflow, the Kootek LCP05 combines a cooling pad with an adjustable stand. Five built-in fans, a metal mesh surface, and front stoppers bring cooling support and a more flexible viewing angle to a desk setup.
Choose between directing airflow across the laptop or prioritizing an elevated, adjustable work position: this stand brings both functions together, with two USB ports for connecting peripherals.

Requirements
The front stoppers help keep a laptop in place as the stand is adjusted. Select one fan, four fans, or all five using the two switches, which control the fans and their LEDs together. The lights cannot be turned off independently while the fans are running.
The built-in cable uses a USB-A connection. A USB-C device needs a USB-C-to-USB adapter to connect through that cable. For best performance, the manufacturer recommends powering the pad with a 5V 1A adapter, connecting it without that power can cause the fans to run slowly or fail to spin.
Getting the most from it
Set the six-position stand to the angle that suits your desk task, whether you are working, gaming, or watching a movie. The raised position can also bring the screen closer to eye level, while the metal mesh surface and five-fan layout provide airflow beneath the laptop. The red LEDs operate with the fans, and the switches let you choose how many fans run for the setup.
The two built-in USB ports add connection options for peripherals, making the pad useful when you want both a laptop stand and extra USB connectivity in one accessory. Compared with a basic flat cooling pad, its adjustable height and front stoppers support a more positioned setup, compared with a stand alone, it adds powered fans beneath the computer.
Customer feedback often highlights quiet operation, adjustable angles, and cooling support. Opinions on airflow and durability are mixed, and buyers also differ on the brightness of the lighting. Those perspectives help distinguish the pad’s practical appeal: an adjustable laptop platform with selectable fans and integrated red LEDs.
Final verdict
The Kootek LCP05 is suited to a 12–17-inch laptop setup that benefits from an elevated viewing angle, selectable airflow, and two extra USB ports. Its six height positions, five-fan design, and secure front stoppers make it a practical choice for desk work, gaming, and movie viewing.
