JXMOX F8E54BF4A-0340b4d67b USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Adapter, 2-Pack

A built-in DAC chip lets this USB-C to 3.5mm adapter connect wired headphones to a compatible USB-C device. It also supports inline controls for listening and answering calls. The two-adapter pack suits keeping one at home and another in a bag or car. It’s a practical way to keep using wired headphones instead of switching to a wireless set.

Technical overview

Each compact dongle has a USB Type-C connector and a 3.5mm female headphone jack, so you can plug in headphones with a standard 3.5mm plug. The built-in DAC chip is designed for audio playback, with the product description also citing noise reduction. Inline wire controls support headphone control functions, including calls on compatible devices. If a phone has its own 3.5mm headphone jack, the adapter’s calling function does not work with that phone.

The cable uses enameled copper wire, and the connectors are described as 24K gold plated. Strain relief is designed to handle repeated bending, the stated durability test is 12,000+ bends. These details make the adapter convenient for regular handling, whether it stays connected to a phone or is packed with headphones for travel. Buyers report successful use with various devices, though feedback on sound and build quality is mixed: some find the sound fine and the adapter useful, while others mention crackling or distortion and inconsistent quality.

Compatibility & requirements

Use the adapter with a device that has a USB-C port and wired headphones or an auxiliary audio cable with a 3.5mm plug. Listed compatible devices include iPhone 15, 16, and 17 series models, iPad Pro, iPad Air, and iPad mini 6, Samsung Galaxy S20 through S25 series models, and select Google Pixel, Huawei, OnePlus, Sony, and Nokia devices. MacBook Pro and MacBook Air are also listed. Compatibility varies by device model, so match your device to the listed range before choosing this connection.

For a car stereo with a 3.5mm auxiliary input, connect the adapter to a compatible USB-C phone and use a suitable 3.5mm audio cable. Plug-and-play operation means the adapter does not require separate software or a driver. The two-pack gives you a second adapter for another location or device, while keeping the same wired-headphone setup.

Who it’s for

This adapter is for people who want to use their existing wired headphones with a compatible USB-C phone, tablet, or laptop. It can also help when a car or other audio setup uses a 3.5mm auxiliary connection. The inline controls are useful for listeners who want to manage audio or calls from their headphone wire, provided the connected device supports that function.

It’s a great fit if you prefer the familiarity of wired headphones and want a small connector rather than replacing them with a wireless pair. If you move between a desk, commute, and home listening, the two adapters make it easier to keep one within reach in more than one place.

When it makes sense

Choose this JXMOX adapter when your device has USB-C, your headphones use a 3.5mm plug, and you want to keep that wired setup in use. Its built-in DAC, inline control support, and two-piece pack make it a useful everyday link between USB-C devices and 3.5mm audio gear. For listening through wired headphones or connecting compatible devices to an auxiliary input, it offers a straightforward alternative to buying a new set of wireless headphones.
