Jecqbor UP01 Upholstery Foam Pad, 30 ILD, 1-Inch, 24 x 72-Inch

The 30 ILD polyurethane foam provides a supportive base for cushion repairs and custom padding, helping refresh seats that need more structure.

At 1 inch thick and 24 x 72 inches, this rectangular sheet gives you material to shape for a range of home upholstery and DIY projects.

Choose it for tailored cushion work: trim the sheet to suit your project, whether you’re replacing a seat insert or making a pad for a bench or reading nook. It’s a practical alternative to buying a cushion in a fixed shape when your cover or project calls for a custom fit.

Tips for day-to-day use

The foam arrives vacuum-compressed and rolled. After opening, let it expand and recover before measuring, cutting, or fitting it into a cushion cover. For a more comfortable unpacking and fitting process, leave it in a well-ventilated area for 24–48 hours, a slight odor after unpacking is normal for compressed polyurethane foam.

Once expanded, measure the space you’re filling and trim the pad to the shape you need. Its 1-inch thickness makes it suitable for adding a layer of support to an existing cushion or creating a slimmer custom pad. Use it for projects such as dining-chair seats, bench cushions, window seats, and home cushion repairs. The product is designated for indoor use, and its described applications also include camper sleeping areas and boat seats.

Benefits

A cut-to-size sheet offers flexibility for repairs and one-off projects that don’t match standard cushion dimensions. Instead of choosing a ready-made cushion with a predetermined outline, you can adapt the rectangular foam to the shape of a seat or cover. That makes it useful for refreshing an older couch cushion, building a handmade bench insert, or adding padding to a reading nook.

The 30 ILD compression rating and 1.87 lb/ft³ density describe the foam’s specified firmness and density. Together with the supportive feel described for everyday sitting, these details help guide selection when you want a structured base for a cushion rather than a finished, pre-shaped seat. Customers also describe the foam as useful for their projects, including furniture repair.

Highlights

This Jecqbor pad is made from polyurethane foam and has a plain, clean white finish. Its 72-inch length and 24-inch width provide a rectangular sheet that can be cut for different cushion and padding applications. The 1-inch thickness is easy to account for when planning an insert or adding a layer to existing upholstery.

Use it as a base for sofa or chair cushion repair, a custom bench pad, a window-seat cushion, or a DIY foam mat. The product description also names pet beds, camper beds, and boat seats among possible project applications. Buyers highlight that the foam works well for their projects, while the stated indoor-use classification makes home cushion work a natural fit.

Is it worth it?

For a project that needs a specific shape or a straightforward layer of supportive foam, the Jecqbor UP01 gives you a full rectangular sheet to measure and trim. Its 30 ILD rating, 1-inch profile, and 24 x 72-inch dimensions make it especially relevant for cushion refreshes and custom upholstery work where a ready-made insert may not match the required outline. Allow it to expand before cutting, then shape it for the seat, bench, or indoor cushion you’re updating.
