TENGYI Step Stool, Adjustable 3.7–5.9 in., Glow-in-the-Dark, 700 lb Capacity

For adults, seniors, and children who need a little extra height at a bed, sink, or bathroom fixture, this adjustable step stool offers three height settings. Its glow-in-the-dark surface helps make the platform easier to spot in dim rooms. A wide stepping area and textured grip support everyday indoor and outdoor use. The stool is rated for up to 700 pounds.

What you’ll notice day to day

The platform measures 16.3 inches deep by 12.4 inches wide, giving you room to step up with a broader stance. Its height adjusts from 3.7 to 5.9 inches across three settings, so you can choose a level suited to the task, whether that means getting into bed, reaching a sink, or stepping up to a toilet. It can also serve as a low step for outdoor use or getting into and out of a car.

The top has a wave-textured mat, while non-slip pads cover the base. Together, these details add grip at the contact points without making the stool complicated to move between rooms. The glow-in-the-dark surface is a practical detail for a bedroom or hallway at night, when a low step can otherwise be harder to see. ABS and polypropylene construction keep the design lightweight, and the scratch-resistant feature helps suit regular household use.

Compared with a fixed-height step, the three-position adjustment gives you more flexibility when the stool serves different people or locations. Buyers often describe it as useful for getting into bed, appreciate the height adjustment and glow, and say the surface is wide enough for both feet. Feedback on stability is mixed: some buyers report that it stays steady, while others mention tilting when stepping near an edge. Centering your foot on the platform is a sensible way to use its stepping surface.

Worth noting

This is a low step platform rather than a tall ladder: its adjustable height tops out at 5.9 inches. That makes it relevant for small height differences around a bed, sink, or bathroom, where a modest lift is useful. The manufacturer lists a maximum capacity of 700 pounds, and the five-leg base design is intended to provide a widened support footprint. For everyday routines, the combination of adjustable height, textured top, and glow-in-the-dark surface addresses both access and visibility in one compact step.

Practical tips

Choose the height setting that fits the particular step-up, then place the stool on a level surface before use. Keep your step centered on the platform, especially when moving on or off it. Its 16.3-by-12.4-inch footprint can be useful beside a bed or sink, and the low profile makes it practical to keep close to the area where you need occasional extra height. For nighttime use, position it where the glow-in-the-dark surface is visible along your usual route.

Buying verdict

The TENGYI adjustable step stool is a practical fit for households looking for a low platform to support everyday access at beds, bathrooms, sinks, or other small step-ups. Its three height settings help adapt it to different tasks, while the textured top, non-slip base pads, wide surface, and glow-in-the-dark finish bring useful details to routine use. If you want one step stool that can move between indoor and outdoor tasks, this adjustable design combines flexible height with a clearly defined, broad stepping area.
