SONGMICS ULPB75BK Duet Piano Bench with Padded Seat and Storage

A padded seat and concealed storage make the SONGMICS ULPB75BK useful for keeping sheet music close while two people share the bench. Its ink-black faux leather surface, foam padding, and solid wood legs give it a straightforward look for a piano or keyboard area.

The seat is fixed at 19.7 inches high, so it does not offer height adjustment. The storage compartment is intended for music and small accessories, rather than serving as a large storage space.

What it works with

This bench is intended for piano use, with a width designed to accommodate two players for duets or shared practice. The compartment beneath the seat can hold sheet music, books, or small musical accessories, keeping them nearby without adding a separate storage unit. A metal safety hinge holds the lid open for access.

It can also serve as a vanity stool, according to the product details. Rubber foot pads are included to help protect floors from scratches. Assembly is required, though the seat section comes preassembled and the package includes instructions and a wrench. Compared with a basic bench without a storage compartment, this one adds a place to put music, a height-adjustable design may be a better match if changing seat height is important.

Who it’s for

It’s a great fit if you need a shared piano seat, want sheet music close at hand, and prefer a padded surface over a simple hard bench. The rectangular shape and ink-black finish are easy to place in a piano area, while the faux leather surface can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Buyer feedback often highlights the appearance, comfort, storage, and ease of assembly. However, durability feedback is mixed: some buyers report cracked legs or damage. That does not establish how every bench will hold up, but it is relevant if you expect frequent movement or heavy everyday use. The stated maximum static load is 220 lb, and the manufacturer advises against rocking the bench back and forth while seated.

Buying verdict

The ULPB75BK combines a two-person seat with a shallow, concealed compartment, making it a practical choice for duet practice or a piano setup where music needs a home. Not the best choice if you need an adjustable bench, since this model is explicitly non-adjustable. Choose it for the shared seating and built-in storage, consider a different bench style if adjustable height is a priority.
