Welacer CUF01US Upholstery Foam Pad, 1 x 24 x 72 in, 125N / 33 ILD
Product description
A furniture refresh can call for a thin layer of cushioning, while a new seat build may need more depth. The Welacer CUF01US upholstery foam pad is 1 inch thick, with a 72 x 24-inch flat sheet that can be trimmed to suit chair seats, bench pads, window seats, headboards, and other upholstery projects.
Its listed 125N / 33 ILD support makes this sheet a practical choice for light cushioning and repair work where a defined, cut-to-fit layer is useful.
Quick sizing guide
The pad measures 72 x 24 inches and is 1 inch thick. Plan the shape and dimensions around the area you’re covering, then trim the foam with a sharp knife or electric cutter. This lets you fit the sheet to a specific seat, bench, headboard, or custom DIY project instead of relying on a pre-shaped cushion.
At 1 inch thick, it’s suited to light cushioning and upholstery applications. For seating projects where more depth is needed, a thicker foam option may make more sense. The flat sheet format also works for repairs that call for a simple padding layer rather than a full cushion build.
Why it makes sense
Use the foam to refresh a worn chair seat, add padding to a window seat, make a bench pad, or prepare an upholstered headboard. Its generous sheet dimensions provide material to cut for different shapes, so one pad can serve a range of home, RV, boat, pet, and craft projects. The 125N / 33 ILD support specification helps guide your choice when matching the foam to a project that calls for supportive padding.
The sheet is compressed for shipping. After opening, allow 24–72 hours for it to expand before cutting or measuring, temporary creases can smooth as it recovers. Once fully expanded, the final thickness may vary by approximately 0.2 inches, so allow for that when planning a close-fitting replacement. It’s a great fit if you need a customizable foam layer for upholstery repair or a light-cushioning project.
