MAXYOYO 2502-(series) Japanese Floor Mattress, Twin, 4-Inch Foldable Futon

A three-layer foam and polyester build gives this MAXYOYO floor futon a cushioned surface that folds or rolls away when the space needs to serve another purpose. Its Twin size is designed for adults, guests, dorm rooms, and floor lounging. Need a sleeping spot that can be stored between visits? The included cover, straps, and storage bag make this setup easy to organize.

Where it shines

Use the mattress as a guest bed, living room futon, tatami-style floor mat, or tent mat. Its 39-by-80-inch Twin footprint provides a dedicated sleeping surface without requiring a permanent bed frame, while the roll-up design supports flexible storage. It can also travel in a car for trips where a portable floor mattress is useful. Compared with a fixed mattress, this futon suits rooms that need to switch between sleeping and everyday living space.

The construction has polyester filling in the top and bottom layers and high-density base support foam in the middle. A pillow-top surface and polyester cover complete the design. The cover helps shield the mattress from dust, and the included straps and storage bag are useful for packing it away or carrying it between rooms. Buyers often praise its appearance and mention using it for children and sleepovers. Feedback on the advertised thickness, foldability, durability, and support is mixed, so experiences vary, the listed 4-inch thickness is a product specification, not a guarantee of an individual sleeper’s comfort.

Worth noting

The mattress arrives compressed for transport. For recovery, the product guidance recommends placing it in sunlight and allowing at least 2–3 days for the thickness to return. Plan that setup time before using it for an overnight guest. One mattress, a matching dustproof cover, a pair of straps, and a storage bag are listed as included.

Cleaning & care

For everyday upkeep, remove surface dust with a soft brush. Spot-clean marks with a damp cloth, then wipe with a dry cloth as needed. This targeted care suits a floor mattress that may move between a guest room, living area, and storage. Let the surface dry before folding or placing it in the storage bag.
