E-Z Ink Replacement Ink Cartridges 280/281
Product description
If you only need black ink, a full replacement set may be more than you want. The E-Z Ink pack is aimed at replacing several cartridge colors at once, with six cartridges for compatible Canon PIXMA printers and both large and small black options.
It’s a practical format for a home printer used for everyday documents as well as color graphics or photos. The trade-off is that compatibility is specific, and the supplied page-yield figures vary sharply, so this set calls for a closer look than a simple black-ink refill.
Key specifications
This is a six-cartridge compatible replacement set for the PGI-280XXL and CLI-281XXL cartridge families. The pack includes large black (PGBK), small black, photo blue, cyan, magenta, and yellow. The listed compatible printers include the PIXMA TS9120, TS8120, TS8220, TS8222, TS8320, TS8322, TS9100, TS8100, TS8200, and TS8300 series. That list is not a claim of compatibility with every Canon printer, match your exact printer and cartridge numbers before ordering.
The provided page-yield figures are 600 pages for large black, 6,360 for small black, 9,140 for photo blue, and 830 for color cartridges. Those numbers differ considerably, particularly for the small black and photo blue cartridges. Treat them as listing claims rather than a promise of how many pages your own print jobs will produce.
Who it’s for
This set suits someone who needs to replace several colors together and wants black ink on hand for text alongside the colors for graphics or image printing. For example, if a household printer handles a batch of school documents one day and a color image the next, having all six listed cartridges in one pack can be more convenient than buying colors individually.
A solid pick if your printer is one of the listed PIXMA models and you need this whole mix of black and color cartridges. Not the best choice if you only need one color, want an original Canon-branded cartridge, or have a printer outside the compatibility list. E-Z Ink is identified as a compatible replacement, the supplied information doesn’t describe installation details or provide independent print-quality testing.
What’s included
The pack contains one large black 280XXL, one small black 281XXL, one photo blue 281XXL, one cyan 281XXL, one magenta 281XXL, and one yellow 281XXL cartridge. That gives you a complete set of the stated colors rather than a spare-only pack. It also means you may be replacing colors you haven’t run out of yet, so consider whether a full set fits your printing habits.
Questions before you buy
Does this pack include two black cartridges? Yes. It lists one large black cartridge and one small black cartridge, in addition to photo blue, cyan, magenta, and yellow.
Which printers does the listing name? It names PIXMA TS9120, TS8120, TS8220, TS8222, TS8320, TS8322, TS9100, TS8100, TS8200, and TS8300 models or series. Check the exact printer and cartridge numbers rather than relying on the PIXMA name alone.
Are the listed page yields uniform across the set? No. The supplied figures differ by cartridge, from 600 pages for large black to much higher stated figures for small black and photo blue. Actual page counts can depend on what you print, and the information provided does not explain the yield test conditions.
When it makes sense
Choose this pack when you need the listed PGI-280XXL/CLI-281XXL mix for a compatible printer and would rather replace several colors together than source them one at a time. If you’re buying mainly for a specific yield expectation, the unusually different figures deserve a check against the product listing before you decide. And if your printer model isn’t named, don’t assume these cartridges fit just because it’s a Canon PIXMA.
