E-Z Ink Ink Cartridges 934XL/935XL

Best use cases

The four-cartridge pack includes one black 934XL cartridge and cyan, magenta, and yellow 935XL cartridges, so it covers both text printing and color output in one replacement set. It is listed for select HP OfficeJet and OfficeJet Pro printers, including the OfficeJet Pro 6230 and 6835 and the OfficeJet 6812, 6815, and 6820. Check your printer’s exact model against the compatibility list before choosing it, similar model numbers are not enough to assume a match.

For a home office, that combination can be handy when you need to replace several colors along with black rather than buy cartridges one at a time. Worth considering if you want an XL-compatible replacement set for routine documents, charts, and color graphics.

Product specs

This is a compatible replacement pack, not a set of HP-branded cartridges. The listed page yield is 1,000 pages per black cartridge and 825 pages per color cartridge, based on 5% coverage. Those figures are estimates tied to the stated coverage, not a promise of the same number of pages for every mix of text, images, and color.

The package contains one 934XL black cartridge, one 935XL cartridge each in cyan, magenta, and yellow, plus a user guide. The product listing describes the ink as intended to produce crisp text and graphics, but it does not provide details about print quality under different paper or document conditions.

There is also a setup detail worth noting: from the way it is set up, the instructions say to turn off the printer’s Automatic Upgrade setting, as an upgrade may prevent cartridge recognition. If the printer does not recognize a cartridge, the supplied troubleshooting guidance suggests cleaning its chip with an eraser, unplugging the printer and waiting three minutes before restarting, or installing an original cartridge before reinstalling the replacement. For an “Ink Blank” message, the instructions suggest briefly turning the cartridge upside down and shaking it before installation.

Where it shines

The main convenience is having black and all three listed color cartridges together. Imagine printing a work document with black text and a color chart: this pack is meant to cover both needs without piecing together separate replacements. What matters more in that situation, a full color set in one purchase or sticking with the printer’s original cartridge brand? This option favors the bundled replacement approach, someone who prioritizes an HP-branded set may prefer that route instead.

It’s not for you if your printer model is not on the stated compatibility list, or if you do not want to adjust the automatic upgrade setting or follow basic troubleshooting steps if recognition problems occur. The listing does not establish how the cartridges perform across every printer or print job, so treat the stated yields as coverage-based guidance rather than a guarantee.

Final verdict

This E-Z Ink 934XL/935XL combo makes practical sense for owners of a listed OfficeJet or OfficeJet Pro model who want one black and three color replacements in the same pack. Its clearest appeal is the complete four-cartridge mix and the stated yields, with the trade-off that setup may require attention to the printer’s upgrade setting. Choose it when your exact printer is listed and you are comfortable with a compatible replacement, skip it if you need a confirmed match for an unlisted model or prefer to avoid possible recognition troubleshooting.
