HP 15.6-inch Touchscreen Laptop

For students, remote workers, and home users who want a larger touchscreen for everyday tasks, this HP pairs a 15.6-inch Full HD display with an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor. The numeric keypad can make spreadsheet entry less fiddly, while the touchscreen adds a direct way to scroll through documents or zoom in on a presentation. Its memory and graphics are worth weighing against your workload, though: the listed 8GB of RAM is a more modest setup for heavy multitasking or demanding creative projects.

Technical details

The Intel Core Ultra 5 125H has 14 cores and 18 threads, with boost speeds up to 4.5 GHz. It comes with 8GB DDR5 RAM and a 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, plus Intel Arc graphics. The 15.6-inch IPS touchscreen has a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 300-nit brightness, and an anti-glare coating. Windows 11 Home is preinstalled. For calls, the listed hardware includes an HP True Vision 720p camera with temporal noise reduction and dual-array microphones. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 handle wireless connections, and HP Fast Charge is included, the product details don’t state a battery runtime, so it’s hard to judge how long it will last away from an outlet without that measurement.

Getting the most from it

This configuration makes sense for browser-based work, school assignments, spreadsheets, video calls, and streaming. For example, you can tap to enlarge a chart during a presentation, then use the numeric keypad to enter figures into a spreadsheet. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 are useful when your network and wireless accessories support them, but the listing doesn’t name specific compatible devices. It suits you if you want touch input and a roomy screen in one everyday laptop. Compared with a more basic machine, the faster listed processor and SSD are appealing for routine productivity, compared with a system built for intensive editing or a large number of simultaneous apps, 8GB of memory may be the limiting factor. You may want to skip it if your work depends on more memory or graphics performance than the listed configuration provides.

Usage tips

Use the touchscreen when scrolling, zooming, or navigating a presentation feels easier than reaching for the touchpad. The full-size keyboard and numeric keypad are a practical match for data entry, while the webcam and microphones are ready for remote meetings. If you often work in bright spaces, note that the screen is rated at 300 nits, the listing doesn’t establish how it will look in every lighting condition. HP Fast Charge may help reduce charging downtime, but no charge time or battery capacity is provided. Check those details if all-day use away from power is a deciding factor.

Questions before you buy

Does it have a Full HD touchscreen? Yes. The IPS panel is listed at 1920 x 1080 and supports touch input.

How much memory and storage are included? It has 8GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. The provided details don’t say whether the memory can be upgraded.

Is it ready for video calls? The listing specifies a 720p camera with temporal noise reduction and dual-array microphones. Call quality can still depend on your surroundings and connection.

Is it worth it?

This HP is worth considering when a touchscreen, numeric keypad, and everyday productivity features matter more than a high memory ceiling. Its processor, SSD, and Full HD IPS panel make a useful combination for school, office tasks, and video calls, while 8GB RAM sets a clear boundary for heavier workloads. Choose it for general computing and touch-friendly navigation, look at a configuration with more memory if you routinely edit demanding projects or keep many applications open.
