Haprait HP006 Refrigerator Water Filter, 3-Pack, Carbon Fiber, NSF/ANSI 42

Why it makes sense

If you need a replacement filter for a refrigerator that uses a Frigidaire WF3CB-style filter, the Haprait HP006 provides a three-filter supply for ongoing household use. Its carbon fiber filter is certified and tested to NSF/ANSI 42 for reducing chlorine and odor while retaining beneficial minerals in the water. That makes it a practical choice for maintaining filtered water at the refrigerator dispenser without changing to a different filtration approach.

Choose this replacement when matching an existing filter is the priority, a different filter format is better suited to a setup designed for another system. The HP006 is compatible with WF3CB, Pure Source 3, WF425, 706465, 242069601, 242086201, 242017800, PS3412266, and AP4567491.

What to know

Each pack contains three filters. The carbon fiber construction and NSF/ANSI 42 certification make the key purpose clear: reducing chlorine and odor while retaining beneficial minerals. The listed dimensions are 7.32 inches deep, 2.59 inches wide, and 9.25 inches high. Match the refrigerator’s required filter reference before installation, particularly if you are replacing a filter identified by a model number rather than by its appearance.

Customer feedback often highlights straightforward installation and a good fit, with some buyers also reporting improved water taste and flow. Experiences with leakage are mixed, so seat the filter according to the refrigerator’s installation instructions and check the connection after replacing it.

Cleaning & care

For the initial use, dispense approximately 4 gallons of water before relying on the filter. This helps prepare the filtration system for regular use. Replace the filter every 6 months or after 200 gallons, whichever comes first, to follow the product’s stated replacement interval. Keeping a spare from the three-pack on hand makes it easier to stay on schedule.
