TiFFCOFiO TF-261B Digital Outdoor Timer Outlet, 2 Grounded Outlets

For outdoor decorations and Christmas lights that you want to run on a schedule, the TiFFCOFiO TF-261B offers a direct way to automate on and off times. Its dial-based programming lets you choose from six program settings, while two grounded outlets provide connections for compatible devices.

Set a daily schedule instead of switching connected lights on and off by hand. The timer is designed for outdoor use and has a waterproof design.

Pros

The rotary dial makes programming a hands-on process: turn it to the setting you want rather than working through combinations of buttons. You can choose from six program settings, then turn the dial to review saved programs and edit them. The main screen shows the running time of the active program, helping you see which schedule is in use.

A display described as three times larger than those on traditional electronic programming timers makes the on-screen information easier to see while setting or reviewing a schedule. For seasonal lighting, this can make a recurring daily routine more straightforward to manage.

Key points

The TF-261B has two grounded electrical outlets and a listed rating of 15A/1875W. It is made of plastic and measures 2"D x 4"W x 3.5"H. The timer is ETL Listed. Use the rating when choosing what to connect, and keep the total connected load within it.

The practical choice here is between a timer you program directly at the device and one that relies on more involved button or key combinations. This model uses a dial to select settings and review programs, which suits someone who prefers visible, physical controls for a recurring schedule. Buyers mention using it for outdoor decorations and Christmas lights. Feedback on ease of use varies, so allow a moment to get familiar with the dial and program settings. Durability feedback is also mixed, with some buyers reporting failures after several months of use.

Best use cases

Use the timer to schedule outdoor lights that follow the same routine each day, such as decorative lighting around an entry, patio, or yard. Connect compatible equipment to the grounded outlets, set the desired on and off times, and select the program with the dial. For a single light that only needs occasional manual switching, a timer may be more control than necessary, this model is a better fit when a repeatable automatic schedule and two outlet connections are useful.
