GOLOPET BHP75120 Extra-Large Dog Heating Pad, 47 x 30-Inch, Adjustable

Adjustable heat and timer settings let you tailor this GOLOPET pad to your dog’s resting spot, with an LED controller for straightforward adjustments.

At 47 x 30 inches, the mat gives extra-large dogs room to settle on indoor floors, sofas, or in a kennel. Its listed breed recommendations include 70–110 lb dogs such as Bernese Mountain Dogs and Great Danes.

A soft paw-print flannel cover and a waterproof PVC shell combine a cushioned resting surface with practical protection. The cover detaches for machine washing, do not fold the pad while it is powered on.

Highlights

The controller offers temperature settings from 80–130°F in 5°F increments, plus 13 timer options. Set an automatic shutoff from 1 to 24 hours, or use the always-on setting, shown as 00 on the display. The remaining time is visible on the LED screen, so the controls are easy to read while setting up a warm spot for your pet.

The heating pad uses a double-helix heating wire structure and multiple temperature-sensing chips for temperature monitoring. Its listed safety features include an eight-layer construction, overheat protection, UL/MET safety certifications, and flame-retardant inner material. The cord is described as waterproof and chew-resistant, with a protective tube included. These features suit a dedicated pet resting area where adjustable warmth and a clear shutoff schedule are useful.

Best use cases

Use the square mat on an indoor floor, sofa, or in a dog kennel to create a designated warm place for a large or giant dog. Its 47 x 30-inch surface gives a larger resting area than a compact pet warmer, while the controller adds options that a simple, unheated bed mat does not provide. It can also be used in a doghouse, as listed for this product, place and operate the electrical pad according to its instructions.

The removable flannel cover is designed for machine washing, making routine care easier. The mat is 0.5 inches thick and weighs 2 pounds, so it can be positioned in a suitable resting space without treating it as a bulky dog bed. The black paw-print pattern gives the surface a distinct look while keeping the focus on a practical warm spot.

Everyday use

Choose a temperature and timer for your dog’s resting routine, then use the controller display to check the remaining time. The automatic shutoff settings support timed sessions, while the always-on option is available when that mode fits the setup. Follow the care guidance: remove the cloth cover for machine washing, and never fold the heating pad while it is powered on.

Buyer feedback often highlights the soft feel and comfort, including for puppies and older dogs. Experiences with heat and durability are mixed, so individual reports vary. The product’s adjustable controller, protective construction, and washable cover are the concrete features to consider when setting up a dedicated warming area.
