GOLOPET BHP4671 Puppy Heating Pad, 28 x 18 in Waterproof Mat with Timer

When a pet needs more than a soft place to settle, a dedicated heated mat can add adjustable warmth to a favorite resting spot. The GOLOPET BHP4671 measures 28 x 18 inches and pairs a temperature controller with a removable plush cover, making it practical for a kennel, pet house, indoor floor, or sofa.

Set the warmth and timer through the LED controller, then give your dog a cushioned place to relax. The waterproof PVC shell and protective construction are designed for everyday pet use.

Best use cases

Use the mat to create a warm resting area for puppies, older dogs, or other pets that seek a cozy place to lie down. Its 28 x 18-inch size suits a kennel or dog house, and it can also be placed on an indoor floor or sofa. The flannel cover adds a soft surface, while the detachable design makes care easier: remove it and machine wash it as directed.

For a pet that settles in one spot, the adjustable controller lets you choose warmth from 80–130°F in 5°F increments. The timer offers 13 options, including automatic shutoff settings from 1 to 24 hours and an always-on mode. The display shows the remaining time, so it is easy to see the selected setting.

Why it makes sense

The double-helix heating wire and built-in temperature sensing and overheat-prevention features are part of a layered design intended for pet comfort and protection. The inner material is waterproof and flame retardant, and the mat also has a wire protection tube. Its UL/MET dual safety certification is another documented feature for shoppers considering a powered pet warmer.

Compared with adding only a blanket to a pet’s bed, this mat offers controlled heat and a timer in a dedicated resting surface. What matters more for your routine: a fixed layer of bedding, or warmth you can adjust for the time your pet is resting? The answer depends on how your pet uses its space, but the controller makes temperature and timing part of the setup.

Buyers often praise the soft feel and comfort, especially for puppies and older dogs. Feedback about warmth and durability is mixed, with some customers reporting inconsistent heat or premature problems. These comments reflect individual experiences rather than a guaranteed outcome.

What matters most

The mat is 0.5 inches thick and weighs 14.4 ounces. A black paw-print pattern gives it a simple look, while the removable flannel cover provides a softer contact surface than the waterproof shell alone. The included components are the heating pad, intelligent controller, plush fabric cover, and wire protection tube.

For safe use, do not fold the heating pad while it is powered on. It’s a great fit if you want a compact heated spot with adjustable settings for a kennel, pet house, or indoor lounging area, and a removable cover for routine washing.

Should you buy it?

Choose the GOLOPET BHP4671 when the goal is to add adjustable warmth to a pet’s usual resting place without replacing the whole bed or kennel setup. Its specific 28 x 18-inch footprint, selectable temperature range, timer, and washable cover make it a useful fit for pets who benefit from a dedicated cozy surface at home.
