Petace Outdoor Cat Heating Pad, 19.7" x 15.7", 40W, Water-Resistant Base

For a cat house, porch, or garage shelter, the Petace Outdoor Cat Heating Pad adds gentle warmth where a pet rests. Its 19.7" x 15.7" rectangular surface is sized for adult cats, and it can also be used indoors.

The pad automatically adjusts to its preset temperature after a pet settles on it. A water- and abrasion-resistant bottom helps suit sheltered outdoor spots, while the removable cover makes routine cleaning more convenient.

An adjustable-loft air valve lets you change the inner pad’s cushioning. The combination of warmth, a washable cover, and an outdoor-ready base makes this a practical alternative to unheated bedding for sheltered resting areas.

Quick sizing guide

The pad measures 19.7" x 15.7" x 1". For an enclosed cat house, compare those dimensions with the available floor space. In an open area, the manufacturer’s guidance is to consider a larger pad if your pet likes to stretch out, a curled-up sleeper may be comfortable with a more compact surface. The product is recommended for cats and small dogs, with adult cats specifically highlighted.

To set the loft, open the air valve and plug in the pad, then allow a few minutes for it to inflate to about 1 inch. Press the center to release excess air if needed, and do not use tools to inflate it. For use, place a plush cover over the heated pad and keep it unfolded while operating. Its 5.6 ft steel-wrapped power cord supports placement in a nearby sheltered resting spot.

Pros

Automatic temperature control provides subtle warmth that adjusts to the pet’s presence, rather than the stronger heat associated with a human heating pad. This makes the mat suited to a pet’s resting area in cold weather, including a garage, porch, barn, or cat house. The water-resistant bottom and abrasion-resistant base are useful in sheltered outdoor settings, while indoor use is also supported.

The air valve gives you a way to adjust the inner pad’s loft, so you can tailor the cushioning to the resting setup. When the cover needs cleaning, remove it for machine washing. Buyers often praise the warmth and say their pets use the pad in outdoor shelters, feedback about inflation is mixed, with some reporting that the pad does not inflate much. These are individual impressions, not a substitute for the product’s setup instructions.
