GOLOPET BHP6090 Large Dog Heating Pad, 36 x 24 in, Adjustable Heat and Timer

Adjustable temperature and timer settings let you tailor this heating pad to your pet’s resting routine. Its 36 x 24-inch surface gives large dogs a dedicated place to settle on a floor, sofa, or in a kennel. Choose it when you want active warmth and timed operation rather than a standard, unheated bed. The soft paw-print flannel cover adds a comfortable surface for everyday lounging.

Key takeaways

The GOLOPET BHP6090 has a double-helix heating wire and temperature-sensing chips that monitor warmth during use. Set the temperature from 80°F to 130°F in 5°F increments with the LED controller, then choose from 13 timer options. The timer can shut off after a selected period from 1 to 24 hours, or use the always-on setting when that suits the routine. The display shows the remaining time, making the selected setting easy to check.

Its layered construction combines a soft flannel cover, flame-retardant filling cotton, and a waterproof PVC shell. The pad is listed as IP68 waterproof and has a chew-resistant cord, the product also describes its heating wires as UL-recognized and its safety certification as UL/MET. These features are useful for a pet’s regular resting area, while the controller provides a straightforward way to adjust warmth and timing. The rectangular mat measures 36 x 24 x 0.5 inches and is intended for large dogs, with a maximum recommended weight of 90 pounds.

How to take care of it

The plush fabric cover is detachable and machine washable, so it can be cleaned separately as part of routine care. Keep the powered heating pad flat: do not fold it while it is switched on. Use the controller to set the temperature and timer for each session, and position the pad where your dog can rest comfortably on its soft surface.

Everyday use

For a dog that settles in a kennel during the evening, place the pad in its resting area, select a comfortable temperature, and use the timer to match the planned rest period. It can also create a warm spot on an indoor floor or sofa, giving your pet a dedicated place to relax instead of relying on an unheated cushion alone. The 36 x 24-inch format is designed for larger resting spaces, and the included intelligent controller and wire protection tube support setup around the pad.

Buyers often praise the soft feel and comfort, including for puppies and older dogs. Feedback about how warm it feels is mixed, and some buyers mention durability concerns, so experiences vary. The adjustable control and timed settings are the defining features for households looking to add selectable warmth to a pet’s regular resting space.

Final verdict

The GOLOPET BHP6090 is suited to large-dog owners who want a roomy heated mat with a removable flannel cover, adjustable temperature, and timer choices. Its practical strength is the ability to set warmth and session timing for a kennel, sofa, or indoor resting spot, rather than choosing a simple unheated mat.
