GOLOPET BHP4545 Cat Heating Pad, 18 x 18 in, Adjustable Temperature

At 18 x 18 inches and 0.5 inches thick, the GOLOPET BHP4545 is a square heating mat sized for a cat bed, indoor floor spot, sofa, or outdoor cat house. Its plush cover creates a soft resting surface, while the waterproof inner liner helps protect the pad’s interior.

An adjustable controller lets you set the temperature from 80–130°F and choose a timer from 1–24 hours. The normally open mode keeps the pad on rather than switching off automatically, giving you another way to manage its operation.

For a dedicated warm resting place, what makes this pad different from a basic unheated mat? Its built-in thermostat, double-helix heating wire, and protective construction add temperature control and warmth in one compact setup.

Best use cases

This pad is designed for cats and small animals that use a regular resting spot indoors or in a cat house. Place it in a cat bed or on a sofa to create a defined warm area, or use it on an indoor floor where your pet likes to settle. Its 18-inch square format suits a compact nook, while the adjustable temperature and timer provide more control than a simple unheated mat.

Customer feedback is positive about ease of use and heating, with some owners mentioning use for whelping. Opinions on the cover’s softness are mixed, and some buyers report durability concerns. These are useful points to weigh alongside the pad’s adjustable controls and washable cover when choosing a regular resting surface.

Practical tips

Set the pad on a stable, dry resting area and position the controller and cord so your pet can settle without pulling on them. Choose a temperature and timer setting appropriate to the space and your pet’s routine, the normally open mode is available when you want the pad to remain on rather than follow an automatic shutoff. For cleaning, detach the plush cover and machine wash it, keeping the heating mat and controller separate.

A solid pick if you want a compact heated resting place with adjustable temperature, timer settings, and a removable washable cover. The BHP4545 brings those features together for cats that return to the same bed, sofa spot, or indoor nook.
