Goldenwarm Privacy Door Knobs, 6-Pack

If you need a lock for a bedroom or bathroom, a privacy knob does a different job than a basic passage knob: it adds an inside lock for everyday personal space. If you only need a handle for a room that doesn’t require privacy, a non-locking style may be simpler.

This set comes in a brushed gold finish, with six knobs for interior doors. The finish gives the hardware a visible role in the room, so it’s worth considering how it will look alongside your existing fixtures.

Installation is described as a screwdriver-only job for standard pre-drilled holes. The fit details below are the key part to check before choosing it.

Size & fit

The adjustable backset fits 2-3/8-inch or 2-3/4-inch measurements, and the knobs are listed for doors 1-3/8 to 1-3/4 inches thick. Those ranges make the set relevant for many interior-door replacements, but they don’t confirm fit for every door. Match your door’s measurements to the listed ranges before starting the installation.

The product details don’t list the knob’s own dimensions or how far it projects from the door. If clearance around nearby trim or a wall is important, that missing detail may matter, you can’t judge the exact clearance without that measurement. The stated fit is for standard pre-drilled holes, so this isn’t described as a solution for doors that need a different hole layout.

Pros

• Privacy function: A turn button locks the door from the inside. The outside can be unlocked with a needle in an emergency, according to the product details.
• Useful room placement: The lock-and-release setup suits a bedroom or bathroom, where a simple passage knob may not provide the privacy you want. Would a non-locking knob meet the same need? Not if inside locking is part of your decision.
• Six-knob pack: The set is intended for multiple interior doors, rather than a single replacement.
• Stainless steel construction: The round knobs are described as heavy-duty stainless steel and designed to resist rust, loosening, and wear. Those are intended benefits, not a guarantee of performance in every home.
• Straightforward installation approach: The listed installation calls for a screwdriver and pre-drilled holes, with no additional tools mentioned.

For a practical example, this setup could suit a bathroom door where someone wants to turn the lock from inside, then use the outside emergency release if needed. You’ll appreciate it if you’re replacing several interior knobs and want a matching brushed gold finish with privacy locks. Better avoided if your door falls outside the listed thickness or backset ranges, or if you need a knob with dimensions that aren’t provided here.

When it makes sense

Choose this set when several bedroom or bathroom doors need privacy locks and the brushed gold finish suits the room. Compared with buying a basic, non-locking passage knob, the inside button adds a specific privacy function, compared with choosing hardware based on a detailed size drawing, this listing leaves the knob’s own dimensions unspecified. That distinction matters if you’re working around tight trim or matching a precise existing profile.

Before installing, check the door thickness and backset on each door, particularly if you’re replacing older hardware. The six-piece format is useful when multiple doors need the same style, but it may be more than you need for one isolated replacement. Its strongest fit is a multi-door interior update where the listed dimensions match and an inside privacy lock is the main requirement.
