Filterbuy AFB16x25x4M13pk2 MERV 13 HVAC Air Filter, Electrostatic, 2-Pack

If your furnace, air conditioner, heat pump, or HVAC system takes a 16x25x4 filter, this Filterbuy two-pack provides a MERV 13 replacement for routine indoor air filtration.

Its electrostatically charged, pleated synthetic media is designed to capture 98% of dust without restricting airflow. The MERV 13 rating makes it a fit for shoppers looking beyond a basic filter for dust and allergen reduction.

The nominal size is 16x25x4, the actual dimensions are 15.50 x 24.50 x 3.63 inches. Match those measurements to your existing filter slot when choosing a replacement.

Tips for day-to-day use

For a straightforward filter change, turn off the system, remove the intake cover, and slide the replacement into the slot with its airflow direction aligned to the system. Replace the cover before turning the system back on. The slide-in design supports a direct replacement routine, and the two filters in the pack give you a second replacement on hand.

Filter size labels use nominal dimensions, while the actual size gives the precise measurements. If your current filter lists dimensions on its frame, compare them with 15.50 x 24.50 x 3.63 inches, otherwise, measure the slot’s width, length, and depth. This helps distinguish a filter that matches the opening from one selected by its rounded label alone.

Benefits

MERV 13 media offers a higher-filtration approach than a basic fiberglass replacement, with the manufacturer stating that it captures 98% of dust without restricting airflow. Its electrostatic charge and pleated construction are intended to catch microscopic particles as air passes through the filter. That makes it a practical choice for households or workplaces focused on reducing airborne dust and allergens as part of regular HVAC maintenance.

A frame with dual-wire backing supports the filter during use, while the pleated design provides the filtering surface. The combination offers a defined alternative to shoppers who want more than a simple replacement filter but still need a slide-in format for their existing system. Buyers often praise its dust filtration and report noticing cleaner air, feedback on fit and construction varies. The listed actual dimensions offer a clear reference when matching the filter to a slot.

When it makes sense

Choose this Filterbuy filter when your equipment calls for a 16x25x4 nominal replacement and you want MERV 13 electrostatic filtration in a two-pack. It is intended for residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC applications, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps. For buyers weighing a basic filter against a higher-rated pleated option, this model brings MERV 13 media, a dual-wire-backed frame, and clearly stated actual dimensions together in one replacement.
