Chromojet 63XL Black and Color Ink Cartridges for HP 63 Printers, 2-Pack

For printing homework, contracts, and travel documents at home, school, or a small office, this two-cartridge set provides black and color ink for compatible printers.

The Chromojet 63XL cartridges are replacements for HP 63 cartridges. A built-in chip supports ink-level tracking, so you can check the printer’s displayed ink status as you plan print jobs.

The set pairs one black cartridge with one color cartridge. Its high-yield format is intended for routine printing without choosing black and color cartridges separately.

Highlights

This 2-pack is designed for select HP Envy, OfficeJet, and DeskJet inkjet printers. Listed examples include Envy 4510, 4512, and 4520, OfficeJet 3830, 4650, 5200, 5255, and 5258, and DeskJet 1112, 2130, and 3630 models. The full compatible model list also includes additional printers in those series, so match your printer’s exact model number before ordering.

The black-and-color combination suits everyday documents as well as print jobs that use color. The cartridges use water-based ink and are intended for plain paper. Their chip supports ink-level display, giving you a convenient reference when deciding whether to start a longer print job or keep a replacement on hand. These are third-party replacement cartridges, not HP OEM cartridges.

Buyers often mention compatibility and value positively. Feedback on color output is mixed, with some customers reporting missing magenta, and some report receiving a color cartridge with little or no ink. Experiences with installation also vary. These comments are useful context when weighing a replacement cartridge set, but do not change the printer models listed for compatibility.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the set for household forms, school assignments, office paperwork, and other plain-paper printing on a compatible inkjet printer. Black ink covers many text-focused jobs, while the included color cartridge supports documents that call for color. The ink-level display can help you keep an eye on remaining supply during regular use. For a printer used mainly for black-and-white documents, a black-only replacement is a different purchasing approach, this combo is suited to people who want both black and color cartridges together.

How to use it

First, identify the complete model number shown on your printer and compare it with the compatible-model list. The series name alone may cover several different printers, so the exact number is the useful check. Install the black and color cartridges in the corresponding printer positions, following the printer’s normal cartridge-replacement instructions. Once installed, use the printer’s ink-level display to monitor the reported supply. Keeping the model check and ink status in mind helps make the set easier to fit into a regular home or small-office printing routine.

Is it worth it?

For owners of a listed Envy, OfficeJet, or DeskJet model who need both black and color ink, the practical appeal is a matched replacement pair with ink-level tracking in one package. It’s a great fit if you regularly print a mix of text documents and color pages and want a compatible alternative to buying HP 63 cartridges. The exact printer match is the key buying detail, once that lines up, the black-and-color format is ready for everyday paperwork, schoolwork, and small-office tasks.
