ejet 902XL Ink Cartridges, 4-Pack for HP OfficeJet Pro Printers

Choosing replacement ink can come down to whether you need black for everyday documents or a full set for both text and color printing. This ejet 902XL combo pack includes black, cyan, magenta, and yellow cartridges. Its XL capacity is rated for up to 3,300 pages in total, giving home and office printers a ready set for varied print jobs.

What matters most

The four-color pack is designed for compatible HP OfficeJet and OfficeJet Pro printers, including the OfficeJet 6950, 6951, 6954, 6956, and 6958, and the OfficeJet Pro 6960, 6961, 6962, 6963, 6964, 6966, 6968, 6970, 6971, 6974, 6975, 6976, 6978, and 6979. Check your printer’s model name against this list before choosing a cartridge, the 902XL designation identifies the cartridge family, not the printer.

The stated yield is up to 825 pages per cartridge, or 3,300 pages across the set. Separate black and color inks support routine paperwork as well as graphics that use cyan, magenta, and yellow. The cartridges use upgraded smart chips, and the product carries a 24-month warranty. Buyers describe the colors as vivid and text as clear, and some also mention straightforward installation and long-lasting ink. Those comments offer a useful picture of customer experience while actual results can depend on print settings and use.

Best use cases

This pack is suited to compatible OfficeJet printers used for a mix of documents and color output. For example, a home office can use black ink for forms and correspondence, then print color charts or presentation pages without switching to a different cartridge set. If your main need is only black text, a single-color replacement is a different purchasing approach, this combo instead provides all four colors together for varied printing.

Usage tips

Match the printer’s exact model to the supported list before installing the cartridges. Follow the printer’s on-screen instructions for replacement, and handle each cartridge by its sides as you position it in the correct slot. The product guidance recommends turning off automatic firmware updates to help avoid printing disruptions with compatible cartridges. Keep the printer’s usual maintenance prompts in mind so it is ready for regular document and color printing.
