Acaves LC401XL Compatible Ink Cartridges for Brother, High-Yield 4-Pack

This four-pack brings together LC401XL black, cyan, magenta, and yellow ink cartridges for compatible Brother inkjet printers. With one cartridge for each color, it’s a practical way to restock the set used for everyday text and color printing.

The cartridges are designed for select Brother MFC-J models, and their individual page-yield estimates help you plan replacement needs for routine printing.

Worth noting

Each cartridge has an approximate yield of up to 560 pages for black and 510 pages for each color cartridge, based on A4/letter pages at 5% coverage. Actual page counts depend on what you print and how much of each page is covered in ink. The four-pack format means black, cyan, magenta, and yellow are on hand together, rather than sourcing each color separately.

Buyer feedback highlights print quality positively, while compatibility experiences are mixed. The listed printer compatibility is Brother MFC-J1010DW, MFC-J1012DW, MFC-J1170DW, and MFC-J1800DW, so matching your printer to those models is a useful first step when choosing replacement cartridges.

Usage tips

Install the cartridges in a compatible printer and follow the prompts on its display. If the printer shows a “Non-Brother Ink” message at first installation, the provided instructions say to select OK or Next to continue. If it reports that it cannot detect a cartridge, remove and reinstall it, close the printer door, and restart the printer, the instructions recommend repeating those steps if needed.

For a common home or small-office scenario, the set can support printing a mix of black-text documents and color pages without purchasing the four ink colors separately. Compared with replacing only one color at a time, a complete set is a straightforward choice when you want all four listed colors available for the next round of printing.

Everyday use

These cartridges are intended for Brother inkjet printers and plain-paper printing. Black ink serves routine text pages, while cyan, magenta, and yellow provide the color set for documents that use colored text or graphics. That combination works well for everyday tasks such as printing forms, schedules, and color-accented office or household pages.

The product information also describes an ink-level monitoring chip. Together with the separate color cartridges, this can help you keep track of ink levels as you print and identify which color may need attention. Page-yield estimates offer a further planning reference, especially for households or workspaces that print regularly.
