Tech specs

The XXL format gives you a five-cartridge compatible set for select Canon PIXMA inkjet printers. It combines PGBK large black with standard black, cyan, magenta, and yellow, so you can replace the color set and black cartridges together.

The set is designed for home, school, and office printing, from everyday documents to photos and graphics. Its high-yield cartridge mix is useful when you want replacement ink on hand for regular printing.

Choose this compatible set when you want an alternative to buying Canon-branded cartridges, while keeping the printer-model match central to your purchase.

Everyday use

The separate large-black and standard-black cartridges give this set a useful mix for text-heavy printing and color output. For example, a home office can use it for routine documents as well as color graphics and photos, with the matching cartridges ready for replacement as needed. The manufacturer describes the ink as producing crisp text and graphics, making the set suited to varied everyday print jobs.

Check the model name on your printer against the compatibility list before ordering. The set also lists additional compatible PIXMA models, including TR7500, TR7620, TR8500, TR8600, TR8622, TS6100, TS6200, TS6300, TS8100, TS8200, TS8222, TS8300, TS8322, and TS9100. Matching the full printer model helps you select cartridges intended for your device.

Buyers often highlight straightforward installation, printer recognition, print quality, and how long the cartridges last. Feedback on color and ink handling is more varied: some customers like the color output, while others report missing colors or spills. These are buyer experiences rather than a guarantee of a particular result, and the printer match remains an important part of choosing the set.

In the box

The pack contains one PGI-280XXL large-black cartridge, one CLI-281XXL standard-black cartridge, and one each of cyan, magenta, and yellow, plus a user guide. That gives you the five listed ink colors in one purchase, rather than sourcing each cartridge separately.

Is it worth it?

This set is a practical fit for PIXMA owners who want a compatible five-cartridge replacement with both large and standard black, alongside the three color cartridges. Its documented yields—1,800 pages for PGBK, 850 for standard black, and 800 per color cartridge at 5% coverage—help you compare the pack with other replacement approaches based on the way you print. If your routine includes both black text and color projects, the combined set keeps those cartridge types together for the next replacement cycle.
