CATISM C-CB-COFFE Hooded Cat Bed, 21-Inch Plush Cave with Washable Base

For a cat that likes a tucked-away place to nap, the CATISM C-CB-COFFE pairs a soft, round bed with a hooded cave design. Its coffee-colored plush exterior creates a cozy indoor resting spot, while the covered shape offers a more enclosed alternative to an open cushion.

The hood can be laid down to create a donut-style bed, so you can adjust the setup to your cat’s preferred resting style. A removable bottom and non-slip base make the bed practical for everyday use around the home.

Tips for day-to-day use

Set the bed on a flat indoor surface where your cat can settle in without disrupting the household. The listed size is 21.0" L x 21.0" W x 15.0" thick, and the manufacturer recommends it for cats within 12 pounds. Comparing those dimensions with your cat’s usual sleeping posture can help you choose a comfortable spot for it.

For a more enclosed nook, keep the hood raised, for a more open resting surface, lay it down. The bottom unzips and can be removed for washing. Machine washing is supported, with a gentle cycle recommended in the care guidance. After unpacking, leave the bed out for about 20 minutes to regain its shape after vacuum-packed shipping.

What stands out

This bed combines an open resting area with a semi-enclosed nook, rather than asking you to choose between a basic cushion and a fully covered cave. The hood can add a sense of privacy, while laying it down creates a more open donut-style arrangement. That flexibility is useful when a cat’s preferred sleeping position changes from one nap to the next.

The plush polyester surface and foam fill give the bed its soft, cushioned construction. Underneath, a non-slip base helps keep it in place on the floor during everyday use. The removable bottom also makes cleaning more manageable than washing the entire bed as one piece.

Buyer feedback often highlights the bed’s softness and cozy feel. Opinions are mixed on fit and how well the hood stays raised, and some buyers say their cats do not use it. Is a covered nook the right style for your cat? Its adjustable hood gives you the option to offer either a cave-like space or a more open bed.

When it makes sense

Choose this CATISM bed when you want a plush indoor resting place that can be arranged as either a covered cave or an open donut bed. Its 21-inch footprint, removable washable bottom, and non-slip base make it a practical fit for a designated nap spot at home. For cats within the stated 12-pound recommendation that enjoy soft, enclosed resting spaces, the hooded design offers a cozy alternative to a simple flat mat.
