WanpeeGoo Cat Cooling Mat Gray 18x24 Reversible Self-Warming Cat Bed

A reversible surface gives your cat a choice between a plush fleece side and a cool-touch side, so the bed can suit different seasons without changing pads. The fleece sits over heat-reflective foil designed to return a pet’s natural body warmth. For a crate or a favorite spot on the floor, the 18 x 24-inch size is aimed at cats, kittens, and small dogs. It offers a different approach from buying separate warm and cooling mats, though it isn’t a deeply padded cushion.

Quick sizing guide

This version measures 18 x 24 inches. That footprint can work for a cat or small dog that likes to curl up, and it may be useful inside a crate or on a piece of furniture. Before choosing it for a crate, compare the bed’s dimensions with the usable floor area, the listing also describes a larger size, but its measurements are not needed to assess this version.

Think about how your pet rests. A curled-up cat may need less surface area than an animal that stretches out, so measure a usual sleeping spot if you’re unsure. The mat is rectangular and has a fleece cover with cotton fill, making it a softer surface than a bare crate floor. If your priority is substantial cushioning rather than a reversible seasonal surface, a thicker, dedicated cushion may be a better fit.

Why it’s worth it

The main draw is the two-sided design. On cooler days, the fleece side and foil layer are intended to reflect body heat, when a cooler-feeling surface is preferable, flip the mat to the ice-silk side. That makes it easy to change the resting surface without storing a second mat. It’s a practical setup for a home where a pet’s preferred spot shifts with the weather or room temperature.

Buyer feedback often highlights the ability to switch between warming and cooling sides, along with the soft feel of the surfaces. Some also describe the mat as comfortable for their pets. Comments about thickness are mixed, however, and several buyers say it is not especially thick. A solid pick if you want a compact, reversible place for a cat to curl up, rather than a bulky bed designed around deep cushioning. It’s not for you if substantial padding is the main requirement.

Technical overview

• Size: 18 x 24 inches
• Shape: Rectangular
• Color: Gray
• Cover material: Fleece
• Outer material: 80% polyester, 20% nylon
• Inner material: Aluminum foil
• Fill material: Cotton

The warming effect is described as reflecting the pet’s own body heat, while the reverse offers a cool-touch surface. There is no separate temperature setting described, so the seasonal adjustment comes from flipping the mat rather than selecting a heat level. For everyday use, it can sit in a crate or in a familiar resting place, its compact format is more suited to a single small pet than to a large dog’s bed.

Final verdict

The WanpeeGoo Cat Cooling Mat Gray 18x24 makes sense when the useful feature is having a fleece warming side and a cool-touch reverse in one compact mat. Its stated size and small-pet focus help narrow the decision, while the mixed feedback on thickness matters if your pet needs a more cushioned surface. Choose it for a reversible resting spot, not as a substitute for a thick, supportive bed.
