California Design Den 840307199898 600 Thread Count California King Cotton Sheets, Aqua

Made from 100% long-staple cotton, this California King sheet set pairs a 600 thread count with a smooth sateen weave. The Aqua solid color brings a calm, coordinated look to the bed. Four pieces cover one California King mattress, including a fitted sheet with all-around elastic for a secure fit.

At a glance

The set includes one flat sheet, one fitted sheet and two king-size pillowcases. The fitted sheet is designed for mattresses from 8 to 16 inches deep, while top-and-bottom tags make it easier to orient the sheet when making the bed. This is a set for one standard California King mattress, not a Split King.

The fabric combines a lustrous finish with a structured feel, giving the bed a neat, polished appearance. If you are comparing sheets by more than thread count alone, the long-staple cotton and sateen weave offer useful details to consider alongside the 600 thread count and mattress fit. The set carries the Good Housekeeping Seal and is a 2026 Oprah Daily Sleep Award winner.

On-body feel

Sateen gives the cotton a soft, smooth hand and a subtle sheen. The fabric is described as substantial yet breathable, so it feels structured without being heavy. Its smooth finish and year-round design make it a practical choice for a bed used across changing seasons. With regular washing, the fabric tends to soften while retaining its crisp, polished look.

Getting the most from it

Match the fitted sheet to a mattress between 8 and 16 inches deep for the intended fit. Its all-around elastic helps hold the sheet in place, and the orientation tags help you identify the top and bottom as you spread it across the mattress. The flat sheet and two pillowcases complete the setup for a California King bed.

For routine care, machine wash warm and tumble dry low. Removing the sheets promptly after drying can help reduce wrinkles. The fabric has been tested for pilling, shrinkage and fading, and the set is OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified for testing of harmful substances. These details make it easier to choose a cotton set based on fabric, care and fit—not just the look of the color.
