California Design Den 600 Thread Count Split King Cotton Sateen Sheet Set

A split king bed needs sheets sized for two separate mattresses, while the shared top sheet and pillowcases keep the bed coordinated. This California Design Den set pairs two Twin XL fitted sheets with a king flat sheet and two king pillowcases, all in a soft light gray shade.

Its 100% long-staple cotton sateen has a smooth feel and subtle sheen, with a 600 thread count for a substantial, breathable fabric suited to everyday bedding.

Key points

The five-piece configuration is made for a split king adjustable bed with two separate Twin XL mattresses—not a top-split mattress. Each fitted sheet has all-around elastic to help hold it in place, and top-and-bottom indicator tags make it easier to orient the sheets when making the bed. The shared king flat sheet and two king pillowcases create a coordinated set without relying on a single fitted sheet across both mattresses.

Sateen gives the cotton a smooth surface and gentle luster. The fabric is made from 100% long-staple cotton, and the set carries the Good Housekeeping Seal. The light gray color is a cool-toned neutral that works well with a range of bedroom palettes.

Care tips

Machine wash warm and tumble dry on low. Removing the sheets promptly after drying can help reduce wrinkles. The fabric has been tested for shrinkage, pilling, and fading, making the care routine straightforward for regular use.

Tips for day-to-day use

Match each Twin XL fitted sheet to one of the two separate mattresses, then use the king flat sheet across the bed. The labels at the head and foot help with positioning during bed changes. This divided fitted-sheet arrangement is especially practical when choosing sheets for a split king setup rather than a standard king mattress, where the fitted-sheet configuration is different.

The smooth sateen surface and breathable cotton make the set suitable for year-round bedding. Its neutral light gray also makes it easy to coordinate with patterned blankets or a more minimal bedroom look. The pillowcases have an open-end design and measure 21 x 40 inches.
