California Design Den 840307158567 Split King Sheet Set, 600-Thread-Count Cotton Sateen

The 600-thread-count sateen weave gives these California Design Den sheets a smooth feel and subtle sheen, while long-staple cotton brings a breathable fabric for year-round use. The split king design includes two fitted sheets, so each can cover a separate Twin XL mattress on an adjustable bed.

Choose this set when you need independent fitted sheets for two mattresses, a conventional king set is designed around one fitted mattress instead. The pastel blue solid color and matching king-size flat sheet and pillowcases create a coordinated look across the bed.

Fit and sizing

This set is made for a Split King setup with two separate Twin XL mattresses, not a top-split mattress. Each fitted sheet has all-around elastic and fits mattresses 8 to 15 inches deep. Top and bottom indicator tags help orient the sheets during bed making, while the separate fitted sheets let each mattress move independently.

The fitted sheets measure 39 x 80 inches, and the flat sheet measures 112 x 102 inches. The two pillowcases measure 21 x 40 inches and have an open-end design. For a practical setup, place one fitted sheet on each Twin XL mattress, then use the king flat sheet across the bed.

Strengths

Made from 100% long-staple cotton in a sateen weave, the fabric combines a smooth hand feel with a light, lustrous finish. Its breathable construction is suited to regular use across the seasons, and the cotton is machine washable and tumble dryable. The brand says the sheets are tested for shrinkage, pilling, and fading, the care instructions recommend warm machine washing and low tumble drying, with prompt removal to help reduce wrinkles.

The set carries the Good Housekeeping Seal and is OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified. These details may help shoppers who value independently tested product claims and textile safety certification as part of their bedding choice. The five-piece set also keeps the essentials coordinated: one king flat sheet, two Twin XL fitted sheets, and two king pillowcases.

Buyers commonly praise the softness, comfort, appearance, and fit, with some noting a softer feel after washing. Feedback on durability and wrinkle resistance is mixed: some describe the sheets as holding up well or showing few wrinkles, while others report tearing or wrinkling. These are individual experiences rather than a guarantee of how any set will perform.
