California Design Den 840307158451 Split King Sheets, 600-Thread-Count Cotton Sateen

Made from 100% long-staple cotton in a 600-thread-count sateen weave, this California Design Den sheet set brings a smooth feel and subtle sheen to a split king bed. Its bright white, solid-color finish pairs easily with a range of bedding styles.

The five-piece set is designed for two separate Twin XL mattresses, with individual fitted sheets for each side and a king flat sheet and pillowcases to complete the bed.

Choose this split setup when each side of the bed needs its own fitted sheet, a single fitted sheet is intended for a different mattress arrangement. The separate sheets suit adjustable beds with two Twin XL mattresses, not a top-split-only configuration.

Quick overview

The set includes one king flat sheet, two Twin XL fitted sheets, and two king pillowcases. All pieces are made from 100% long-staple cotton, with a sateen weave that gives the fabric a smooth hand and soft luster. The cotton is naturally breathable, making the set suitable for use throughout the year.

The fitted sheets have all-around elastic to help hold them in place, plus head and foot indicator tags that make orientation clearer when making the bed. The set also carries the Good Housekeeping Seal and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification. Machine wash and tumble dry for routine care, the manufacturer recommends warm washing and low-heat drying.

Fit and sizing

Each fitted sheet measures 39 inches wide by 80 inches long and is intended for a Twin XL mattress. The listed pocket depth is 15 inches, with a stated fit for mattresses from 8 to 15 inches deep. The all-around elastic helps secure each fitted sheet to its own mattress, while the top and bottom tags help identify the correct orientation.

The king flat sheet measures 112 by 102 inches, and each king pillowcase measures 21 by 40 inches. The pillowcases have an open-end design. Together, the separate fitted sheets and shared flat sheet provide the specific layout needed for two Twin XL mattresses arranged as a split king.

Who it’s for

This set is suited to households with a split king adjustable bed made from two separate Twin XL mattresses. It offers a practical alternative to bedding built around one continuous mattress: each side gets its own fitted sheet, while the king flat sheet and pillowcases keep the bed coordinated. If your bed uses a top-split arrangement instead, this set’s configuration is not intended for that setup.

The cotton sateen fabric is a good match for shoppers who want a smooth, lightly lustrous sheet rather than a crisp, matte finish. Bright white keeps the look classic, and the solid pattern makes it straightforward to coordinate with patterned duvets or other bedroom colors. Tested for shrinkage, pilling, and fading, the sheets are designed for regular machine washing and tumble drying.

Buying verdict

For a split king bed with two separate Twin XL mattresses, the value of this set is its purpose-built layout: two fitted sheets for independent mattress sides, plus shared king bedding for a unified look. Long-staple cotton, a smooth sateen weave, helpful orientation tags, and machine-washable care make it a considered choice for everyday bedding in bright white.
