Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024) Blu-ray, Model 883929817993, Dolby Atmos
Product description
Some movie nights call for a self-contained comedy, while others are better with returning characters, supernatural chaos, and extra material to explore. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice brings three generations of the Deetz family back to Winter River, where a discovery in the attic opens a portal to the Afterlife. This Blu-ray pairs the feature with bonus content about the film and its production.
Tips for day-to-day use
At 1 hour and 44 minutes, the movie fits a feature-length evening at home. Its mix of action and adventure, comedy, and science fiction and fantasy suits a movie night built around offbeat humor and a supernatural family story. The plot follows Lydia, her daughter Astrid, and the Deetz family as an accidental portal brings the Afterlife into the picture and Beetlejuice returns to stir up trouble.
The disc also offers material for viewers who like to stay with a movie after the credits. Extras include commentary by director Tim Burton, a making-of feature, pieces about Beetlejuice’s return and the Deetz family, and a look at the film’s stop-motion art. There are also features on the Shrinkers, the Handbook for the Recently Deceased, and Beetlejuice and Lydia’s first dance. That makes this release a fit for a straightforward feature night as well as a longer viewing session with production-focused extras.

Why it’s worth it
This edition brings the film together with a varied set of extras rather than offering only the feature. Tim Burton’s commentary gives viewers a director-led companion, while the making-of and craft-focused segments explore the production, the characters, and the stop-motion work. The available English and Spanish audio options also give households a choice of language when settling in to watch.
Buyer reactions to the movie are varied. Many describe it as entertaining and funny, and some single out the performances, including Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder. Reactions to the storyline and repeat viewing are more divided, so the strongest fit is for viewers drawn to the returning cast, the film’s supernatural comedy, and the included behind-the-scenes material.
Final verdict
Choose this Blu-ray for a home viewing of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice with multiple audio options and a substantial collection of film-related extras. It suits fans of the Deetz family’s return, viewers who enjoy comedy with an Afterlife twist, and anyone who wants director commentary and production features alongside the movie. The feature’s 1-hour-and-44-minute runtime keeps the main event easy to plan, while the bonus content gives interested viewers more to watch afterward.
