ARES WING Ultrawide Monitor Arm for 17–49-Inch Screens, 44 lb, White
Product description
A 17- to 49-inch screen range makes the ARES WING ultrawide monitor arm a fit for setups built around a large display. It supports flat and curved monitors, including compatible Samsung and LG screens.
The white metal arm attaches to a desk with a C-clamp or grommet base. Its gas spring and adjustable joints are designed to reposition the screen rather than keep it fixed in one spot.
It makes sense if you want to clear desk space and change your monitor’s position during the day. Check your screen’s weight, VESA pattern, and desk thickness against the specifications below before choosing it.

Usage tips
Before mounting, confirm that the monitor has one of the listed VESA hole patterns and falls within both the size and weight ranges. Some displays require a VESA adapter, so check the monitor’s mounting setup as well. The listing specifies monitor compatibility, not TV use.
Choose the desk attachment that matches your surface and measure its thickness at the mounting point. The top-side installation is intended to avoid reaching underneath the desk, while the detachable VESA plate can make attaching the monitor more manageable. Tighten the base screws as directed, and consider the listed height range and maximum extension when planning where the screen will sit.
Buyer feedback is favorable about setup clarity, smooth movement, and the mount’s feel, but reports on adjustability and support are mixed. Some buyers describe solid support, others say the arm did not hold the claimed weight or needed readjustment. That makes checking the display’s actual weight and allowing for careful setup especially relevant.
Best use cases
This arm suits a desk setup where a compatible ultrawide or other large monitor needs to move between positions, or where lifting the display off the desktop would help organize the work area. Built-in cable management is included to help route cords along the arm. Compared with a basic fixed stand, it offers more positioning options, a simpler stand may be sufficient if you rarely move the screen. It might not be a great match if your display falls outside the listed size, weight, or VESA range, or your desk is outside the mounting thickness limits.
What to clarify
Does it fit a 49-inch curved monitor? The stated range reaches 49 inches, but the monitor must also meet the weight and VESA requirements. Some models may need a VESA adapter.
How much movement does the arm allow? It supports tilt, swivel, rotation, height adjustment, and extension within the listed ranges.
Can it attach to different desks? It offers a C-clamp and grommet mount, each with its own desk-thickness range listed above.
Final verdict
The ARES WING is worth considering when you want an adjustable desk mount for a large, VESA-compatible monitor and your desk fits one of its two attachment methods. Its broad movement range and cable management suit flexible workstation or gaming layouts. If your monitor is near the stated weight ceiling, take the mixed support feedback into account and verify the full setup requirements before relying on the arm.
