Veluris Floor Protection Mat, 18 Black Rubber Tiles, 31 x 31 cm

For home workouts where protecting the floor beneath fitness equipment is a priority, this Veluris set offers a tiled alternative to a single mat. It includes 18 rectangular rubber pieces, each measuring 31 x 31 cm and 1.2 cm thick, plus 22 edge pieces to finish the layout.

The panels can be fitted together in different shapes, which is useful when setting up a defined exercise area around equipment or adapting the mat to the available floor space.

The essentials

The main appeal is the combination of modular coverage and a slip-resistant surface. Rather than choosing a one-piece mat with a fixed outline, you can arrange the tiles to suit your room. The edge pieces help give the finished arrangement a neater boundary, though the product remains a set of joined panels rather than one continuous sheet.

The stated size and thickness make the format easy to understand when planning where it will sit. The tiles are black rubber, with a solid pattern, and are described as moisture-repellent. That makes them relevant for a home workout area where sweat or routine cleaning is part of use. The product is also presented for use beneath fitness equipment, treadmills and pools, as well as in workshops and for fall protection. These are suggested applications, rather than a guarantee of suitability for every surface or activity.

It suits you if you want to cover a particular area with individual pieces that can be arranged to fit it. For example, a workout corner could be laid out beneath exercise equipment, with the edge pieces used around the perimeter. If you prioritise a single seamless surface, a one-piece floor mat is a different format to consider.

Care & maintenance

The care instruction is hand wash only. The product details also say the tiles can be cleaned with soap and water, so this is a straightforward option for removing routine workout residue. As the panels are separate pieces, cleaning them individually may be more practical than treating the assembled surface as one large mat. Allow them to dry before putting them back into use, no specific drying method is stated.

Best use cases

These mats are most relevant for creating a defined protective area in a home gym or workout space, particularly under fitness equipment or a treadmill. The ability to join the tiles in different shapes can help when a standard rectangular mat does not match the available layout. They may also suit buyers looking for a floor covering for a workshop or a pool underlay, as listed by the manufacturer.

Compared with a basic thin covering, the 1.2 cm thickness and rubber construction are the details to weigh when floor protection is the main reason for buying. However, the listing does not give a maximum load or specify which flooring types are suitable. Better avoided if you need a documented load rating or a single-piece surface, those requirements are not established by the supplied product details.

Final verdict

Veluris is a practical format to consider when you want a configurable floor-protection area rather than a fixed-size mat. The set includes 18 tiles and 22 edge pieces, with slip resistance, moisture-repellent material and hand-wash care noted in the product details. Its best fit is a home workout or equipment area where the modular layout is useful. For a seamless finish or a purchase decision that depends on a stated load limit, the available information does not settle that requirement.
