UGREEN 70643 USB-C to USB-C Cable, 100W, 1m, Right-Angle Plug

At 1m, this UGREEN USB-C cable gives you a practical connection for charging compatible phones, tablets and laptops. Its right-angle plug sits neatly alongside a device, helping reduce bending at the connector. Need to keep a cable close to a laptop or phone while it charges? The braided nylon exterior and aluminium shell complete a design made for everyday indoor use.

Practical tips

Pair the cable with a USB-C Power Delivery charger and a device that supports the required power level to make use of its 100W charging capability. The built-in E-Mark chip supports charging at up to 5A and adjusts voltage and current output to match the connected device. Actual charging speed depends on the charger and device, so the cable’s maximum rating is best understood as the capacity it can support rather than a guaranteed speed for every setup.

The angled connector can be useful when a device is held, used on a desk or placed near a wall, as it helps the cable run alongside rather than straight out from the port. For file transfers between USB-C devices, it supports speeds of up to 480Mbps while charging. It does not support video output or streaming, so choose a separate video-capable connection for displaying content on a screen.

Where it shines

This cable suits a USB-C charging setup shared between devices such as a compatible laptop, tablet and mobile phone. The 100W rating makes it a useful option when you want one cable that can support higher-power charging as well as everyday phone or tablet charging, rather than choosing a cable intended only for lower-power devices. Named compatible examples include MacBook Pro and Air, iPad Pro, iPhone 16 and 15 models, Galaxy S24 and S23 Ultra, Pixel 7 Pro, and selected HP and Dell XPS devices. Check that your charger and device support the charging mode you plan to use.

For a desk setup, the 1m length keeps the connection close at hand, while the right-angle plug can help route the cable alongside the device. The braided exterior and aluminium shell add a sturdy feel to the cable’s construction. Buyer feedback is positive about charging and build, though opinions on long-term durability and reliability are mixed. If your priority is charging and data transfer rather than video connection, this cable brings those everyday tasks together in one USB-C lead.

What to clarify

Is it worth it?

For a USB-C setup that needs a 1m cable for charging and file transfers, the UGREEN 70643 combines up to 100W PD charging, 480Mbps data transfer and a space-saving right-angle plug. It is a practical fit for compatible laptops, tablets and phones, particularly where a straight connector would stick out from the device.
