UGREEN 80805 USB-C to USB-B Cable, 1 m Braided USB 2.0

Connect a USB-C laptop to a USB-B printer for a direct wired printing setup at home or in the office. This 1 m UGREEN cable also suits USB-B devices such as scanners and MIDI keyboards. Choose a cable connection for a straightforward link, or wireless printing when you need to place a printer away from your device.

What stands out

The USB-C to USB-B connection brings a compatible laptop and printer together without relying on Wi-Fi. For a busy desk where you want a direct link between devices, this can make printing more convenient, the same cable format also supports suitable scanners and MIDI equipment.

USB 2.0 data transfer is rated at up to 480 Mbps. The cable has a nylon-braided outer layer, an aluminium-alloy shell and nickel-plated connectors. Inside, tinned copper wiring and multi-layer shielding are designed to help reduce interference during use. The reinforced connector housing adds durability at a part of the cable that is handled regularly.

Key takeaways

At 1 m long, the cable is suited to connecting nearby equipment on a desk or workstation. Its USB-C end is for a compatible computer or device, while the USB-B end connects to a compatible printer, scanner or other USB-B equipment. This makes it a practical choice when replacing wireless printing with a direct connection, or when setting up a MIDI keyboard with a suitable USB-C device.

The braided construction is intended to withstand more than 10,000 bends, making it useful for a cable that is plugged in, moved or packed away as part of a regular setup. Buyers also report using it with MacBooks, digital pianos and MIDI controllers, and highlight its build and connectivity. These are customer impressions rather than a guarantee of compatibility with every device.

This cable is for anyone who needs to link a USB-C laptop, including a compatible MacBook, with USB-B equipment. It can suit home printing, scanning or a music workstation using a compatible MIDI keyboard or controller.
