sweguard RM USB-C to USB-C Cable, 60W, 2 x 2m Nylon Braided

Charge a USB-C phone at your desk while keeping the lead within easy reach of a wall charger. This sweguard set includes two red, 2m USB-C to USB-C cables. Each supports up to 60W Power Delivery for compatible devices and adapters. The nylon-braided outer layer adds a practical, flexible finish for everyday use.

What matters most

The 60W Power Delivery support makes these cables suitable for charging compatible phones, tablets and laptops that use USB-C. To use PD charging, both the device and the adapter need to support Power Delivery, the power delivered also depends on the device. For file transfers, the cables support USB 2.0 data speeds of up to 480 Mbps, so they can handle routine syncing as well as charging.

The two-metre length gives you more reach than a short cable when a socket or charging point is not right beside your device. Having two leads also makes it straightforward to keep one at a desk and another near a regular charging spot. The nylon braid covers the cable, while a 56KΩ resistor is included as part of its stated protection against short circuits and overloads.

Fit and sizing

Both ends have USB-C connectors, so these cables are for connecting a USB-C device to a USB-C charger or computer. They are listed as compatible with a range of USB-C phones and tablets, including Samsung Galaxy models, as well as devices such as iPad Pro and MacBook. For PD charging, pair the cable with a compatible device and adapter. Would a longer lead make charging easier at your desk or bedside? At 2m, each cable offers extra reach for those everyday set-ups.

These leads support charging and data transfer, but not monitor or video output. If you are choosing between a short cable and a longer one, the 2m format is useful where you want more room to position a device while it is connected. The two-pack gives you a second cable for another compatible USB-C charging point.

Best use cases

Use one for charging a compatible phone from a USB-C wall adapter, or connect a tablet or laptop to a suitable USB-C power source. At a desk, the longer reach can help keep a device accessible while it charges, when transferring files, USB 2.0 support covers everyday syncing between compatible USB-C devices. The red finish also makes the leads easier to distinguish from other cables in a shared charging area.

Buyer feedback highlights the useful length and charging capability, while comments on connection and durability are mixed. The braided construction and two-metre format are practical features to consider when selecting cables for regular indoor charging.

Is it worth it?

Worth considering if you want two matching USB-C to USB-C leads for compatible devices and value extra reach for everyday charging. The combination of 60W PD support, USB 2.0 data transfer and a nylon-braided covering makes this set suited to common phone, tablet and laptop charging routines, provided the connected device and adapter support the required charging standard.
