McFarlane 14818 Spider-Man 1:6 Scale Collectible with Scene & Comic
Product description
A character-led display piece brings a different appeal from a collectible chosen mainly for its packaging or name. This McFarlane Spider-Man statue pairs the figure with a scene and a comic, giving the display a story-led focus.
At 1:6 scale, it is designed for collectors who want Spider-Man to stand out on a shelf, desk or dedicated display. Its multicolour finish and glossy surface add visual presence.
The scene draws on a Marvel story involving Dr Octopus and the mechanical arms he controls. That connection gives the piece a specific comic-book context, while the included comic is identified as Marvel Tales #223.
Benefits
The scene-and-comic format makes this more than a character figure on its own. It brings Spider-Man into a recognisable Marvel setting and gives collectors a story to associate with the display. The 1:6 scale helps make the character a clear focal point, whether it sits among other collectibles or is displayed on its own.
The product measures 25L x 25W x 26H centimetres and is made from plastic, with a glossy finish and multicolour styling. Those details make it suited to a visible indoor display, while its decorative and collection uses also make it a considered gift for a Spider-Man fan. Buyers praise its appearance and level of detail, and describe it as a welcome addition to their collections.
What matters most
The defining feature is the combination of Spider-Man, a scene and a comic tied to Marvel Tales #223. If you are choosing between a character-only display and a piece with a story attached, this set gives the display a clearer narrative focus. The scene is associated with the Dr Octopus storyline: his mental link to mechanical arms allows him to command them to break him out of prison.
The 1:6 scale, glossy finish and 25L x 25W x 26H centimetre dimensions are useful reference points when planning where to display it. The plastic construction and realistic style keep the emphasis on a sculptural, character-led presentation rather than an everyday play item.
Who it’s for
This collectible suits Spider-Man and Marvel fans who want a display piece with a specific comic-book reference, as well as collectors building a themed shelf. It can also work as a gift for someone who enjoys superhero memorabilia. You’ll like it if the story behind a display matters as much as the character itself, and if you want the scene and comic reference to give the piece extra context.
