Jon is paired with Blitz, a Velociraptor, in a two-figure set inspired by the children’s show. Their different character roles give children a ready-made starting point for storytelling: they can imagine a day on the ranch, act out a scene from the series or invent a new adventure. The figures’ movable design supports hands-on play, while the removable hat offers a simple way to change Jon’s look as the story develops.

Compared with choosing a single character figure, this set puts Jon and his dinosaur companion together from the start. That makes it a practical pick for children who want both sides of the duo for role play, or for collectors adding familiar Dino Ranch characters to a growing group. With no assembly required and manual operation, the figures can be brought straight into tabletop play.

Practical tips

Use the pair together to set up a small Dino Ranch scene on a table or play area, then let your child decide where Jon and Blitz are heading next. The two different figure sizes help distinguish the rancher from his dinosaur companion during play. Jon’s removable hat can be taken off as part of a change of scene or character detail, keep small parts away from children under 3, as they may present a choking hazard.

What’s included

The set contains Jon and Blitz: a Dino Rancher figure measuring 7.5 cm and a 10 cm dinosaur figure. Jon’s hat is removable. Together, the two characters provide the central pair for recreating moments from Dino Ranch or making up original stories without needing to assemble the figures first.

Is it worth it?

It makes sense if you’re looking for a Dino Ranch gift that brings the main character and his dinosaur friend together in one set. The Jon-and-Blitz pairing, movable figures and removable hat give young fans clear prompts for imaginative play, while the familiar characters also make the set a relevant addition to a Dino Ranch collection. It’s best suited to children aged 3 and up who want to act out ranch adventures with both characters side by side.
