Transformers G21625X0 Shockwave Ultimate Cyber Changers Dino Action Figure

Some play calls for a figure with a clear character pose, other sessions are more fun when children can switch forms and invent what happens next. Shockwave brings both robot and dinosaur play into one figure.

A button opens the chest to reveal hidden Energon, while a five-step change takes the figure from robot to dino mode. Translucent armour pieces add another way to shape the play.

Would a quick transformation and a hands-on feature make playtime more engaging? This Shockwave figure is designed for children aged 6 and up, with features to explore in both modes.

The main appeal is the change between two distinct forms. Children can carry out the five-step conversion themselves, then open Shockwave’s chest to reveal the Energon detail and build a new story around the character. The simple sequence also gives play a hands-on element: change the form, reveal the chest feature, then switch back when the story calls for it.

Compatibility

The translucent Energon armour pieces can be attached to Shockwave in robot or dino mode, or combined to make a crystal. Their glow-in-the-dark details add a visual feature to the armour during play. In dino mode, Cyber Changers figures can clip on and ride, those figures are sold separately and subject to availability. The crystal can also be used with the Energon Surge Bumblebee Power Spark toy, sold separately and subject to availability.

CYBERWORLD Transformers toys are designed to work together, giving children scope to bring more characters into their own stories. A child might start with Shockwave’s robot form, transform him for a dinosaur scene, and add a rider or other CYBERWORLD characters as their collection grows. This makes the figure a character-focused choice with more ways to play than a fixed-pose figure, while keeping Shockwave at the centre of the action.

Getting the most from it

Let children explore the five-step transformation and chest reveal at their own pace, then use the armour in either mode or combine the pieces into a crystal. The different features offer natural prompts for imaginative play: a power-up reveal, a change of form, or a dino ride with a compatible Cyber Changers figure. As no assembly is required, the figure is ready for play without a build step. Small parts are present, so it is intended for ages 6 and up and is not suitable for children under 3.

Should you buy it?

A solid pick if you’re looking for a Transformers character that offers more than one way to play. The robot-to-dino conversion, Energon chest reveal and attachable translucent armour give children several story cues in one figure, with CYBERWORLD connections for play that can expand over time. It suits children aged 6 and up who enjoy changing a character’s form and building imaginative action scenes around Shockwave.
