HOMCOM 833-135V80BK CD Storage Tower, 12 Tiers, 204-CD Capacity, Black

For a CD collection that needs a tidy home without taking up much floor space, the HOMCOM 833-135V80BK is a tall, narrow storage tower. Its 12 tiers hold up to 204 CDs and make use of vertical space. Could an unused corner become a practical music display? The slim footprint is designed to fit neatly into tighter areas around the home.

Worth noting

At 175H x 21L x 20W cm, this floor-standing rack gives a substantial collection a dedicated place while keeping its footprint compact. The 12-tier layout makes it easier to group and display CDs, rather than leaving them stacked on a desk or tucked away in boxes. A melamine-faced engineered-wood finish gives the unit a clean, modern look, and the black colour suits a living room, study or home office.

The rack has a stated maximum load of 15 kg and is designed for indoor use. Its anti-tipping hardware lets you secure it to a wall, a useful practical step for a tall storage unit. Assembly is required, and the package includes the storage unit, manual and essential hardware. Buyers often praise the appearance and straightforward assembly, feedback on capacity is mixed, and some report that DVDs do not fit easily or that CDs can be fiddly to remove. It is best suited to organising CDs rather than serving as a general DVD rack.

Tips for day-to-day use

Set the tower where its vertical storage can make good use of a narrow gap or corner, then arrange your CDs by artist, genre or another system that makes your collection easy to browse. Using the shelves for CDs keeps the unit focused on its intended media-storage role, the manufacturer also describes it as suitable for displaying small books or decorative pieces. Keep the total load within 15 kg, and use the supplied anti-tipping hardware to anchor the tower to a wall. These details make it a more space-conscious approach than choosing a wider cabinet when the priority is storing CDs vertically.

Who it’s for

This HOMCOM rack is suited to music fans who want a visible, organised home for a sizeable CD collection, as well as households looking to use an unused corner more effectively. It can also bring CDs together in a home office or study, where a tall, slim unit takes up less floor area than a broad media cabinet. The 204-CD capacity is the key distinction for shoppers choosing between a small tabletop holder and a dedicated full-height organiser. You’ll like it if you want your collection on display and within reach.

Questions before you buy

How many CDs can it hold? The 12-tier tower is designed to hold up to 204 CDs, giving a larger collection a single organised place.

Does the unit need assembly? Yes. Assembly is required, and the package includes a manual and the essential hardware.

Can it be secured for stability? The rack includes anti-tipping hardware for anchoring it to a wall. As a tall floor-standing unit, it should be installed using that hardware as intended.

Is it worth it?

If your main aim is to organise CDs while keeping floor space free, this tower combines a 204-CD capacity with a narrow 175 cm-high format. Its 12 tiers make the collection easy to display, while the wall-anchoring hardware adds a practical detail for everyday placement. It is a focused choice for a home music collection, living room or study where vertical storage is more useful than a wider media unit.
