Lifewit 24517 DVD Storage Boxes, Pack of 6, Stackable Fabric Cardboard

Quick overview

Each Lifewit 24517 storage box measures 40 x 20 x 14.5 cm and combines non-woven fabric with reinforced cardboard. This six-box set is designed for DVDs and CDs, with a lift-off lid to keep collections together and a stackable shape that makes better use of shelf or cupboard space. The boxes can also be folded flat when they are not in use, helping free up storage space between uses.

Handles on both sides make each box easier to move around the home or carry in the car. The black finish keeps the set visually understated, whether it is stored in a living room, bedroom or media room.

How to use it

Assemble each box, place your cases or other stored items inside, then fit the lid before stacking. The reinforced side handles are useful when moving a box from a shelf to another room, while the lid gives the contents a defined, covered place instead of leaving cases loose on open shelving. When the boxes are empty, fold them flat for compact storage.

Everyday use

Use the set to organise DVD or CD cases by type, collection or room, so it is easier to keep a media area tidy and find items again. The same boxes can also hold books, photos, clothes, blankets and snacks, making them useful beyond a single shelf of discs. Their 40 x 20 x 14.5 cm format gives each box a clear footprint for shelves or cupboards, and the stackable design lets you group several collections vertically.

Would a lidded box suit your storage routine better than an open rack? It is a practical approach when you want items grouped together and the storage area to look more orderly. Buyers also praise the boxes for helping organise collections, and describe them as sturdy and straightforward to assemble. Some mention using them for CDs, DVDs and paperback books, reflecting their versatility around the home.

Before you decide

What are the boxes made from? They use non-woven fabric with reinforced cardboard, combining a fabric-covered exterior with structure to hold their shape.

Can the boxes be stacked? Yes. Each has a lid and is designed to stack, making it easier to arrange the set on shelves or in a cupboard.

What else can they store besides DVDs? They can also be used for CDs, books, photos, clothing, blankets and snacks, so the set can serve different storage needs around the home.

Should you buy it?

Choose the Lifewit set if you want a coordinated way to store DVDs and other household items in covered, stackable boxes rather than leaving them in loose piles or on open shelves. Six foldable boxes, lift-off lids and carry handles make it a useful fit for organising a media collection at home and moving stored items when needed.
