SONGMICS RYG094B02 Portable Clothes Wardrobe, 4 Rails and Shelves, Ink Black

Four hanging sections give clothes their own space, while shelves and side pockets keep shoes and smaller essentials organised. The SONGMICS RYG094B02 portable wardrobe brings several storage zones together in one freestanding unit.

At 170 x 45 x 167 cm, it offers a practical way to organise a bedroom or living room without relying on a fitted wardrobe. Its ink-black fabric cover gives the storage area a neat, contained look.

If you need flexible storage for a spare room, the hanging rails and shelves offer a different approach from a permanent fitted wardrobe. The rack can also be assembled and disassembled without tools, using the steel tubes, plastic connectors and fabric cover.

Each rail has a maximum static load of 15 kg, and the hanging area has a maximum height of 120 cm. Use the shelves for items such as shoes or a suitcase, and keep smaller pieces such as socks, keys and gloves close at hand in the side pockets. This mix of hanging and shelf storage makes it easier to keep everyday clothes and accessories in one place.

Usage tips

Assemble the wardrobe by joining the steel tubes with the plastic connectors and fitting the fabric cover. Make sure the connectors are correctly aligned and the tubes are securely positioned. For safe use, attach the wardrobe to the wall with the included anti-tip kit. Remove stored items before moving it, and clean the fabric with a dry cloth.

Buyers often highlight the straightforward assembly and useful storage space. Feedback on sturdiness is mixed, so follow the assembly and wall-fixing guidance for everyday use. The combination of rails, shelves and pockets is especially handy when clothes and smaller belongings need separate places rather than one open hanging rail.

Best use cases

Use it in a bedroom to organise shirts, coats and skirts, with shoes or a suitcase stored on the shelves. In a living room or spare room, it can provide a dedicated place for clothing and accessories when a built-in wardrobe is not the preferred solution. The side pockets help keep small essentials together, making them easier to find when getting ready to leave.

When it makes sense

A solid pick if you want several kinds of clothing storage in one freestanding unit: four hanging sections, shelves for bulkier items and four pockets for accessories. Its tool-free assembly also suits situations where a wardrobe needs to be assembled or taken apart rather than installed as permanent furniture. For a practical bedroom or living-room organiser, the SONGMICS RYG094B02 keeps hanging clothes and smaller items together while making use of a 170 x 45 cm footprint.
