FOREHILL M287288 Toy Storage Unit, 3 Wheeled Drawers, White, 102 cm

For families looking to keep children’s books and toys organised, the FOREHILL M287288 combines accessible storage with a child-focused height of 61.5 cm.

Three removable drawers on castors give toys and smaller items a dedicated place, while a large open compartment keeps frequently used things easy to reach.

Its white finish and 102 x 33 cm top make it a practical addition to a child’s bedroom, nursery, playroom or living room.

Key takeaways

This freestanding unit brings several types of storage together: three wheeled drawers, an open compartment and a flat top for books or decorations. That mix is useful when a room needs space for both everyday playthings and items you want to display or keep within reach.

The drawers have cut-out handles and can be removed, so children can bring a selection of toys to their play area and return them afterwards. The unit is made from engineered wood, with a painted white finish that suits a range of room settings. Its stated maximum weight capacity is 50 kg.

How to use it

Use the open compartment for larger toys or books that are picked up often, and sort smaller playthings into the three drawers. Their castors make it straightforward to move a drawer to where play is happening, then slide it back into the unit when tidying up. The top offers another surface for books or decorations, helping make use of the cabinet’s footprint.

At 102 x 33 x 61.5 cm, the unit provides a broad storage surface without being a full-height bookcase. This lower format keeps stored items accessible and can suit a child’s room where a mix of open access and concealed storage is more useful than shelves alone.

Everyday use

In a playroom, one drawer can hold building blocks, another soft toys and a third craft or play accessories, with storybooks placed in the open compartment. In a living room, the same arrangement offers a way to keep children’s belongings together while leaving the top available for a small display. The tabletop is described as waterproof and easy to clean, a practical feature for day-to-day use.

Buyers often highlight the storage space, the wheeled drawers and the unit’s appearance. They also describe it as sturdy and report that assembly is straightforward, with clear instructions. These are customer impressions rather than a substitute for the product’s stated dimensions and capacity.

Questions before you buy

What can the storage unit hold? It is intended for books, toys, dolls, clothes, decorations and other household items. The drawers and open compartment let you group different belongings separately.

Can the drawers be moved out of the cabinet? Yes. The three storage boxes are removable and have wheels and cut-out handles, making it easier to move them around the room.

Which rooms is it designed for? It is suitable for a child’s bedroom, nursery, playroom or living room, and can be used as a bookcase, toy organiser or general storage cabinet.
