FirFurd P573 209 cm Bookcase with 2 Doors, 7 Levels, White
Product description
Choosing between open display space and storage you’d rather keep out of sight can be tricky in a smaller room. The FirFurd P573 combines both in a tall, floor-standing bookcase, with five open shelves above a two-door cabinet. Its 60 x 23.5 cm footprint keeps the base compact while making use of vertical space.
The white finish, Scandinavian styling and X-shaped door panels give it a clean look for a living room, study or kitchen.
What to know
At 209 cm high, this bookcase offers seven levels: five open shelves for books, ornaments or everyday items, plus a lower cabinet for belongings you prefer to store behind doors. The contrast makes it useful for keeping frequently used or decorative items visible while giving smaller personal items a more discreet home.
The shelf inside the cabinet is removable and adjustable to three height positions, so you can organise the enclosed space around items of different heights. The doors open to 180 degrees and use a magnetic catch to keep them closed. Made from particleboard and MDF, the unit has a white furniture finish and a trapezoid shape.
Best use cases
Use the open shelves to arrange books and display pieces in a living room, or keep cookbooks and other kitchen items close to hand. In a study, the combination of visible shelves and concealed cabinet space can help separate books and display items from things you’d rather tuck away. Customer feedback also highlights the storage capacity and ease of assembly, with cookbooks mentioned as a good fit.
Compared with choosing a low, wide storage unit, this design makes use of height within a relatively narrow base. Would a mix of display shelves and closed storage help keep your room more organised? The seven-level layout offers both without requiring separate pieces for those two tasks.
How to use it
Assembly is required, and instructions and labelled accessories are provided. Once assembled, position the bookcase on the floor in the room where you plan to use it. Two L-shaped anti-tip fittings are supplied, attaching them to the wall is recommended to increase stability and safety. This is a practical step for a tall, freestanding unit.
Arrange books and ornaments on the open shelves, then adjust or remove the inner cabinet shelf to suit what you want to store behind the doors. The magnetic catch helps keep the doors shut, while their 180-degree opening gives access to the cabinet from a wide angle.
Before you decide
How much room does the bookcase take up? It measures 60 x 23.5 x 209 cm (W x D x H), giving you a tall storage option with a compact base.
Can the shelf behind the doors be adjusted? Yes. The cabinet shelf is removable and has three height positions, allowing the enclosed space to accommodate items of different heights.
Does it need assembly, and how can it be secured? Assembly is required and instructions are included. The two supplied L-shaped anti-tip fittings are recommended for wall attachment to increase stability and safety.
