HOMCOM 836-639V00BT 7-Tier Geometric Bookcase, Rustic Brown and Black

At 80W x 30D x 180H cm, the HOMCOM 7-tier bookcase makes use of vertical space while keeping books and display pieces visible. Its rustic brown and black finish brings an industrial look to a living room, home office or bedroom.

Seven asymmetrical shelves give the unit a more varied layout than a conventional bookcase with evenly sized compartments. Use the different levels to arrange books, photographs, ornaments and plants.

A metal frame supports the engineered wood shelves, with adjustable feet to help keep the unit balanced. Anti-tipping straps are supplied for securing it to a wall.

Quick sizing guide

The freestanding unit measures 80 cm wide, 30 cm deep and 180 cm high, making it a tall, relatively narrow way to organise a display. Its open design keeps items easy to see and reach, while the changing shelf shapes create separate spaces for different-sized pieces. For example, keep books together on one level and use another for a plant or framed photograph.

The seven tiers suit a mix of storage and display rather than a uniform row of identical shelves. That makes the layout useful when the contents vary in height or when you want decorative pieces to sit alongside everyday reading material. The stated maximum load is 40 kg across the unit, with a maximum of 5 kg per tier.

Strengths

The geometric arrangement adds character without making the shelves themselves the focus. The rustic brown shelves and black metal frame work as a backdrop for the items on display, so books, plants and ornaments can each have their own place. Want a display that feels more considered than a single row of shelving? The varied levels help build that layered look while keeping the contents accessible.

Adjustable feet help balance the freestanding frame, and the supplied anti-tipping straps allow it to be attached to a wall. Assembly is required, and a manual is supplied. Buyers have praised the straightforward assembly and the finished appearance, with some also highlighting its use for displaying plants and books.

Buying verdict

Choose this HOMCOM bookcase when you want one piece to handle both everyday books and a changing display of plants, photos or ornaments. The industrial finish and wall-securement straps add practical detail for a living room, bedroom or home office.
